Subject: Spartan III training regimen?

My Grandfather was a Desert Ranger, my Father was a Veteran Ranger in the NCR. My father was killed by Caesar's Legion and they took my Brother. It's now my responsibility to uphold the mantle of the Rangers and avenge my Father and find my Brother.

I haven't read Ghosts of Onyx for awhile and I don't own it and I wanted to know the Spartan III's training regimen. Like what do they do, like the exercises when they were in the woods and had to find something or whatever. Can anyone help?

By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.

Pretty much the same as the Spartan-IIs. They had lessons where tey'd learn about tactics from previous battles, they were shown S-IIs in battle too; then there were the torturous training sessions which involved putting them in "impossible" situations in the hope that they'd pull off something to prove that it wasn't impossible.

Like what was one of the "impossible" things? I don't remember?

Fire Team Foxtrot had to ring a bell atop a wall, but they were stuck behind cover, pinned down whilst turrets with thermal targeting sensors fired at them. Tom and Lucy solved this by grabbing bits of wet mud and hitting the sensors so they couldn't be detected momentarily and used that as their cue to slip under the turrets' firing line.

This man, this man right here put it so eloquently that I actually cancelled my own 2000+ word long post.
/slow clap for respect

:)
The person who said participating is important, not winning, obviously never won anything.

Their training was pretty much like the Spartan II's, but harsher.

Neither of the Spartan generations had augmentations during training. They recieved them on ''graduation day''.

S3 training is described as being better in teamwork, tactics, and such.

I assume there was less extra academics involved.

Such a pain to try and change your profile name. Whatever.

Megzakad a szivem.

It is nearly the same as a SPARTAN II soldier's. With the obvious differences that don't even need to be spoken.
