I think I will because my Xbox is defective and gives dirty disc errors every so often. Well after calling Microsoft and hearing them tell me 150 dollars to get it fixed, I am sick with corporations scrweing their customers. So, I am waiting for awhile to see if the next xbox has as many problems and even though I don't want to buy the next console from microsoft I think it will happen. Anyone else mad at microsoft and their xbox?

You just need a new DVD drive for your xbox. I got one off ebay for 25 bucks and it took about 5 minutes to install, its all better now. The only problem is by opening your xbox it voids the warranty, but mine didnt have one anymore anyway. (do a search for Thompson xbox drive, on ebay)

"You have the brain of a 5-year old boy, and I'll bet he was glad to get rid of it."

My friend had the same problem. Your "laser reader" (not sure what it's called) is probably dirty/dusty. All you need to do is open up your X-Box and clean it with rubbing alcohol and a Q-Tip. It literally takes less than 5 minutes, and it's easy. My friend hasn't had any problems since. Do so at your own risk though, obviously. I'm sure you can find a step by step process online somewhere.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

If the next xbox has Backwards compatibility and a hard drive, then yes. I am sick of memory cards and I better be able to play Halo/Halo 2 on it or else I will wait until the price drops or just not get it at all.
