Subject: The day I first played Halo...

Everyone I would like you to share your thoughts on the first time you played Halo on the X-Box console. If you never played Halo CE then share your first moment on which ever Halo game you played.

I was 4 years old. It was 2001. We got an X-Box and my brothers bought Halo: CE. The greatest memory I have that time period was when I entered in the Installation 04 and had to do Flawless Cowboy. I remember driving the warthog and seeing the banshees fly over my head while I gaze upon the other side of Halo. Right then and there I knew Halo was special. Although I was young I developed a passion for it. My mom didn't let me play it, so I would always go to my neighbor's house and play it with them, or play it with my brothers whenever my mom wasn't home. And I will never forget the day I stepped foot in Blood Gulch, and played my first multiplayer game against my three brothers.

I will never forget Bungie and what they did to the gaming universe. Although they are leaving, they will not be forgotten. I cannot wait for the release of whatever it is they are making now, and I pray that 343 will take good care of the Halo series. Please everyone, share your first memory of Bungie's greatest success.

Per Audacia Ad Astra

I was about 6 or 7, I went to my friends house and played a video game called 'Halo: Combat Evolved'.

We began the single-player campaign and a great journey began.
My friend left the journey after Halo 2, but I am still here.

I woke up one to find my self in a river of honey. Turns out Osama Bin Laden was right.

I was like eight. Went to my friend's house, like Bungie Sam did. We played Halo: CE. It was just so awesome, I had to get Halo 2 when it came out. I fell even more in love in Halo, when I learned I could be an Elite in Halo 2. After that, I became the biggest Halo nerd ever. I was, and still am considered a freak for this, but I never cared, and don't care. I've had all the Halo games, and beat every campaign on atleast Heroic. But I remember the first mission I played on CE. I was a bit scared at first, because the sip was under attack, and I had no weapon, but I eventually figured it out. I killed every colorfull thing I saw, including, sadly, the Elites. And I've never stopped liking Halo.

The first day I played halo I was at my friends house. I played AotCR. I then stopped playing and went onto Bungie.net and proceeded to yell at a bunch of people who were posting things that shouldn't be on the Bungie Universe Forum.

It takes a real man to back down from a fight, but it takes a spartan to finish it!

I started Halo late. I started on the PC release of Halo CE.I was 12 When I played that game it blew my mind. Everything was perfect. The story, the guns, the multiplayer, all perfect.

Then Halo 2 came out. Sadly I could not afford an xbox. So i had to wait a month before I found out my friend owned it. We took our time with this game. I mean it took us 2 months to beat it on legendary but damn it was worth it. And multiplayer was amazing.

After Halo 2 I was addicted. I got Halo 3 the day it came out. It was all I hoped for. I beat it in 3 days on Heroic.

Ever Since Halo 3 I have gotten all the games the day they came out. I <3 halo :)

I was in the 3-4th grade when i first read the EGM article on halo 1 and i remember thinking "ohhhh that looks really cool. 3rd person action adventure. awesome" or something along those lines lol.

then i remember my 5th grade teacher talking about it and i was thinking "what is this... halo..."

my first time actually playing it was at my uncles house when he got his xbox and i just remember creating a pile of dead grunt bodies on the first level and thinking about how awesome it was. ahhhh nostalgia...
