"What are we holding on to, Sam?"
"That there's some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

Has anyone else noticed how sad it is that Halo 3 is not having any new playlists, Double EXP weekends, or Bungie Favorites added? Halo 3 had such good competetive multiplayer, in my opinion far better than Reach will ever have, and Bungie has completely deserted the game. If the servers crashed on Halo 3, Bungie probably wouldn't even notice, or care. I may well be the last person on Halo 3 still trying to reach 50, but I'd like to see Bungie support their product faithfully until the day no one ever plays it again. Is there any chance of Bungie taking notice of this?

Just enjoy the damn game!
Who cares about BR vs AR

No. Because 343i are in charge of Halo now.

So, legally, they can't ever add content, or even reinstate it, to Halo 3?

Yes.

It really isn't that hard to work out.

Sorry, I really don't keep up with these things. Bungie made this decision why? Halo hardly seems to be a struggling franchise. Why sell it to another company? Just for Halo 4? Seems like a lot of work for a sequel that doesn't have guaranteed success....

They didn't 'sell Halo' mate. Bungie became an independent company, so Microsoft doesn't own Bungie anymore. When they split, Microsoft kept control of Halo (it was always theirs- Bungie never owned Halo). Due to this, Microsoft is making future Halo games (directing a subbranch they created called '343 Industries' which now handles all Halo content) and Bungie is moving onto their new title, which we know nothing about yet.

Bungie can change as much about Halo 3 as you or I can right now.

You should go ask 343i to act on your request?...

343 Industries is capable of changing Halo 3 now, then? Or does the actual game still belong to Bungie? If so, then I suppose it's truly impossible to ever see new stuff coming to Halo 3. If H3 specifically belongs to 343, then they're just as capable of changing H3 as Bungie was, correct? Sorry for my ignorance....
