What are we supposed to be discussing here?

I am excited for 'Bungieconomy'. I have no idea what kind of game uses an economy, that is cross platform.

That's just them trying to help out America, it's not gaming related.

If it's not a FPS, I'm probably not renting it.

It's actually a little ironic that I now have a theory in favour of the MMOFPS hypothesis after I just opposed that point of view, maybe I'll post it tommorow if I remember it and if this thread is still alive.

Dating Age

For those looking to vent, get proper advice, or give it to those in need.

I would be very surprised if it wasn't a FPS. Especially since Bungie has said they're "sticking to what they're strong at." And Activision isn't pouring money into a game that's something weird and experimental.

what about an MMOFPS?

I don't play online anymore. An epic campaign is what's going to make or break any new games, as far as I'm concerned.

What about an FPS but the multiplayer was an MMOFPS. Like it has a story and then the multiplayer is an MMOFPS that expands on said story.

Sure. I'd rent it.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Actually, this quote from an IGN article is what made me think it was an MMO.

Said by: Joseph Staten

Wouldn't it be great if we could make a world that was always there for you, with lots of stories to tell, like a big, infinite storytelling horizon? Man, that would be great.

That's A Killshot

It has to be an interactive movie.

Like playing Avatar? that would be awesome if they have the face scanning tech from that movie or from la noire which i think we saw a glimpse of in the ViDoc.

Dead Mans Hand-Always Loaded.

I WAS SOCK

I would love for it to be an MMOFPS... to me it seems like a great path for Bungie, because it hasn't been done correctly yet, and Bungie is the company to finally do it.

Kind of where my hopes lie currently ^_^

poor ilitch

I hope it is a different genre, honestly.

As long as they don't go the WoW route and go quantity over quality. (More stuff in the world for terrible graphics.) One example being the hexagonal trees that you've seen if you ever took a gryphon anywhere in WoW.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

WoW's graphics have held up surprisingly well due to their stylized approach. From an artistic and practical stand point it was a good move to take the route they did with the graphics.

That being said, with technology as it is now in the industry, I would expect to see a more detail and higher resolution environment. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see some things limited for simplicity and to lighten area load times such as trees and other forms of foliage and the like.

It is good but it kinda takes me out of the game when i see things like the hexagonal trees and other things that are super low res but dont have to be.
