So I have the Big book for Evolutions not the individual volumes and was wondering if anyone could tell me how many and what stories are exclusive to the volumes. My book has:
Beyond (poem)
Pariah
Stomping on the Heels
Midnight
Dirt
Archeron-VII (poem)
Headhunters
Blunt Instruments
Mona Lisa
Icon (poem)
Palace Hotel
Human Weakness
Connectivity
Impossible Life
The Return
Lastly the letters from the doctor
I shortened some of the titles but I want to know if I should also buy the volumes or not so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in Advance

I believe that there are not any exclusives for the volumes. Instead, the stories are just spread out over a couple of books. But don't take this for granted because I'm not 100% sure.

In the Halo wiki I just checked it said there were some exclusives to the separate volumes and lists one. I was only wondering if I was missing out on more.
EDIT: here is the link: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Halo:_Evolutions_-_Essential_Tales _of_the_Halo_Universe
2nd EDIT: Halopedian is showing one more as well: http://www.halopedian.com/Halo:_Evolutions_-_Essential_Tales_ of_the_Halo_Universe#Soma_the_Painter

From Halopedian:

Soma the Painter

Soma the Painter is a story exclusive to the re-released Volume I edition. The story show Soma, a Forerunner inhabitant of G617 g1, witnessing the Flood's return to the Milky Way since the Human-Flood War. It then cuts to the Auditor and the Prelate discussing the matter. They then send word to the Didact that the test has begun.

Wages of Sin

Wages of Sin is a story exclusive to the re-released Volume II edition. The story is the first-person narrative of the Minister of Discovery in his last moments in High Charity as it is overrun by the Flood.

In my opinion, Soma The Painter wasn't very interesting and I still don't exactly understand it but Wages of Sin was a pretty cool short story.

The individual Volumes also include:

-Soma The Writer
-Wages of Sin

The rest is all included in the first edition of the book.

I hope we will someday get a proper second set of Evolutions. Plenty of small stories that can be told and Evolutions was great.

Thanks. I can't justify buying a whole book for one short story though.

Did you read "Cryptum"? Because Soma the Painter seems like its a tie-in to the Forerunner Trilogy

I will agree with you on Dirt. Haven't gotten to Impossible Life yet but Dirt was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! My second favorite so far is Mona Lisa

Palace Hotel.

It made John seem more Human than ever. Steve Downes did the audio for it and I can't find it anywhere.

Yeah, I've read Cryptum. I thought G617 g1 was supposed to be where The Flood resurfaced from (based on the Terminals), though. Then in Soma The Painter there's Forerunners living on it and a Halo is placed near the planet. Maybe I'm just thinking about it wrong and someone can explain it to me?

Palace Hotel was a horrible retelling of Metropolis. The only part that made it good was John's childhood friend and later his reasoning over if the program that had made him what he was, was worth it or justified. I liked that part alot, but other than that, no.
