Subject: How Did Chief Survive The Water?

I like Halo...

At the end of the level "Regret", Master Chief jumps in the water.
How did he survive without drowning?
Or how do you think he survived?

Halo 2 for Life!

he in a suit, probably got something in suit to help.

Beats me. Whenever I jump into the water I instantly die.

Wait, MC can survive in space, right? What's a little water to a suit like that?

halo 2 still the best game in the series. long live halo 2.

Dam, I miss the old days playing halo 2 with my old brothers in arms. Thank you my old friends for giving me this account, I shall continue our legacy.

The suit's air tight so if he can survive in outer space with it, then he can survive a trip into the ocean with it. Besides the military made that suit to last, it"ll probably last a lot longer then our xbox 360's red ringing.

*cough*Zora mask*cough*

He probably replaced the helmet under his helmet with it or a breathing mask linked to a hidden scuba tank (he has thrusters. he has pockets for storing his grenades. I don't see why he can't have a hidden scuba tank...).

phew.....100 kills today I must be really thirsty

If you think about it....master chief was a goner if it wasn't for the gravemind to save him sorry to say.

Why you think every time you fell in water you died, LOOK WHAT MASTER CHIEF IS WEARING! (Please correct me if I'm wrong but I quickly looked for answers and couldn't find any....just arguments lol)

But any way there are some suits according to people who read the books and stuff that there is armor for if you come across water you can swim but Master chief wears the MJOLNIR and nothing is said about swimming.

Maybe he could of sank to the bottom and if your a hardcore fanboy you can believe he woke up at the bottom of the sea and walked out.......right

That's saying before the Halo 4 trailer came out, so now apparently he woke up and decided now was a good time to use his built in jetpack after 3 Halos lol

So that being said he was pretty much dead and I do recall me seeing a video that Bungie said Master Chief died but it was long time ago I cant remember and I could be wrong on that note.

Hanger one I just shredded with the SMGs until ammo was out and I just threw 'nades like a boss while BRing.

My experience playing Cairo Station on Legendary

My theory is that Chief's armor was originally a Transformer. Scuba-Mode, go!

  • 08.12.2011 1:33 AM PDT

Great Scott!

That scene was totally not accurate. We'd of had to wait for someone to come and re-spawn him out of the water.

Didn't the Gravemind save him, like he saved the Arbiter?

I know, but water should be poring in his armor,
right?

Rofl, it's a space suite so if he hadn't been somehow snatched up by Gravemend he would have hit bottom with a thud. Then he would have overheated his Beam rifle and tossed a 3 stack down and launched out of there or he could have just strolled out.

"The Elites(bungie) have failed to protect the Prophets(halo), and in doing so, have put all our lives at risk. Let no warrior(gamers) forget his oath, 'Thou, in faith, shall keep us safe, whilst we find the Path."
"With my blessing, the Brutes(343) now lead our fleets(halo games)! They ask for your allegiance, and you(halo and bungie fans) shall give it."~ the changing of the guard (halo developers)

this is how he surrived the water
