Subject: Which faction would you join?

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Dead Orbit all the way!

im trying to spread these, as they are just my remakes of them to the best of my artistic ability.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Whichever one has free snacks, plentiful fruit, and I don't get in trouble for killing everyone.

I'd say Dead Orbit.

Cool logo, probably some sweet general other stuff. Y'know.

Make choices, and don't look back.

I like Seven Seraphs

I wouldn't join any faction because I know nothing about any of them.

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

I want back stories before I choose.

New Monarchy, why? Because Jason Jones was wearing that shirt, and Jason Jones is awesome, and I <3 him. In a totally platonic, non--blam!--blam!- way.
This.

Okay then, I've made my choice. Doughnut Fridays sound good, also FWC has the best logo as well.

I like shorts. They're comfy and easy to wear.

I would join the Noob Monarchy.

~ Life is Killing Me. ~

~ I hate, therefore I am. ~

I can't decide based solely on the symbols for each faction.

I would need to know more about them. Their possible roles in the new universe, their philosophical outlooks, etc.

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble or be a troll, but we don't even know if these are the final cut of the factions yet, or even if they are factions. They could stand for anything, including the name of planets or governments, or even have a religious bent.

So as of right now, I can't choose any of them.

Dead Orbit sounds like Dead Space or something, so I would go with that to get a one percent chance of space zombies.

Halo: CE Anniversary Achievement Idea
C-C-C-CANNON BREAKER!
Let Sgt. Johnson die on Halo.

Seven Seraphs sounds pretty cool. Dead Orbit would be my second choice.

Seven Seraphs

Seven seraphs was the first of the factions to be formed. They were formed a year after the galaxy fell into disarray. At first they were a group of 7 men who decided that they would create a centralized government that would help to clear up the (vague, nonspecific) chaos (the reason for the chaos is unknown and the nature of the events happening therein is unknown as well).

People from one star system to another revered them, some calling them gods. Hence their nickname, the Seven Seraphs. When other factions formed and opposed them, claiming they were tyrannical rulers (even though those factions just wanted more power, and the accusations were unfounded).

Though these other factions formed the Seven Seraphs military maintained their popular support, amassing the most volunteers of any of the factions, not having to draft hardly anyone. Though they did not outnumber the numbers of New Monarchy.

New Monarchy

New Monarchy was the first faction formed in opposition to the Seven Seraphs. They campaigned as the "saviors of the galaxy" and the "liberators of universe from the seraphs tyrannical rule".

They were funded by wealthy diamond farmers from a planet on the outer rings of the Milky Way, and so were often seen as a very "snoody" (for lack of a better word) faction. Their soldiers all getting the premiere of all premiere weaponry and outfitting and having technology that far surpassed the other factions. Though, despite numerous counts of general mismanagement, incompetent businessmen attempting to be military leaders, they had the greatest numbers of all the factions.

Dead Orbit

Dead Orbit was formed by a group of miners on the same planet run by the rich businessmen who started New Monarchy. After the planet was fully mined, the businessmen decided to make a very wise business decision, rather than pay to have the millions of miners off the planet, they left them there with nothing but broken transports. No food. No support. Nothing.

The Dead Orbit miners were now left on a planet were now left alone on a desolate planet with no food or means of escaping it. However, they found a forest towards the southern pole with rich wildlife and water sources. They thrived there for 55 years all the while working towards the goal of avenging their betrayal.

They drilled day in and day out. Children were trained from age 12. And those who weren't in the military were in the rebuilding effort of the broken cruisers. Salvaging engines and physically mining the metals out of the planet to build a cruiser that could make it to the nearest inhabitable planet.

After 55 years of rebuilding and training, they had finally made a transport that took 500 of them to the nearest planet. There they used money from another vein of diamonds they had found to equip their military (this was before ). They then went back to their home planet with 2 more transports and began building for an attack against New Monarchy, having learned of them at their "re-stocking" planet.

They are now an excessively militaristic faction and a force to be reckoned with despite barely having any more numbers than FWC, they became a very formidable force.

Future War Cult

The Future War Cult was a planet that was, at first, overrun by New Monarchy. It was of strategic advantage, being within the same solar system as a Seven Seraph titanium mining planet. The takeover was not a pleasant one from the beginning. New Monarchy forces sacked whole cities, replacing them with military installations. They overtook mines, fueling stations, and markets all in the name of the New Monarchy.

The takeover was made even easier due to the fact that the planet was a peaceful people, who had never been at war in any way. The Seven Seraphs realized this and allowed them to remain neutral in the war

After 50 years of warring with the small civilian formed militia, an underground military started to amass. Refugees from cities everywhere joined up, even the women and children if they were deemed fit enough. Harvesting weaponry abandoned in old towns not used as military bases, they began to grow until soon they outnumbered the horde of New Monarchy invaders (only about 100,000).

They learned to use the weapons in their, literally, underground headquarters and drilled even more intensely than the abandoned miners of Dead Orbit. One day, their underground network of tunnels finally managed to get directly underneath the city that the New Monarchy had regrouped in full inside of, assuming they had wiped out the planets entire population.

The Future War Cult, as they were called by one of ten New Monarchy soldiers who managed to escape, slaughtered almost every one of the men in the city. They continued a series of raids at nighttime over the course of a year, the New Monarchy soldiers never quite ready for the attacks. Eventually one aforementioned group of 10 New Monarchy soldiers escaped on a small 3 man transport to tell their leaders just what had happened.

From then on the Future War Cult went on the offensive, conquering planet after planet under the New Monarchy or any other faction's rule, not being able to even distinguish between those who had slaughtered them in mass (the New Monarchy) and those who had let them be (the Seven Seraphs).

[b]Osiris[/b

Osiris was a faction the was simply formed to keep itself alive. Due to the other factions rerouting trade from old trade routes to new ones that were more militarily advantageous, there was a cluster of planets that were left without trade or a decent economic structure considering they're entire economies were based on trade with other, more resource filled planets.

Though Osiris was never much of an offensive faction, they've grown to be the 3rd largest in population of the five and control the most territory (planet-wise), they do have a military to defend their territory should it come under threat from another faction, though they are the only faction that openly trades with others, helping the economy to flourish once again on the planets under their control.

Disclaimer: these are all obviously 100% speculation with absolutely no proof what so ever. Just thought I'd have a little fun.
