Gwestwood

Hey guys, there were many negative reviews on halo ODST when it arrived in late 2009, this was due to two main problems. 1- it did not have its own exclusive multiplayer experiance, and just added maps to halo 3, which you must remember was a 2 year old game at the time. The other problem, was that it ran on Halo 3's engine, which was a massive letdown for some people. The single player was great, but so many people now look for multiplayer over single player. SO what i am trying to say is will 343 fall into the same trap with halo Anniversary????

There was no 'trap'. Bungie was just under a lot of pressure to release ODST.

Key

You should probably be posting this here instead of here.

Either way, ODST was a great game and, IMHO, had the best campaign experience of any Halo game. Plus, it has a 9.0 on Gamespot. That's less than negative. Now Halo Wars, thats a different story....

But seriously this doesn't belong here, dudeski.

Live a little.

Why would Microsoft put their own game studio (343) in it's own trap? They have specialists to provide when to release a game and when not to, they've got it figured out.
