"Were it so easy..."

I would believe the Florian-sub race would in no way fit in with humanity, since they are much more like gnomes. But the Hamamune (Like Chakas) probably could.

We are all going to get banned aren't we?

we don't know anything about them, absolutely nothing.

The main things we speculate is that they were naturally spartan like (due to datapad AIs) and that they must have been fairly tall if they went hand to hand with the 12 foot tall forerunners.

That was after the Human-Forerunner war, when they were split into 12(?) different sub-species, so they wouldn't be able to fight against the Forerunner anymore or something.

Not necessarily split into subspecies, rather they were directly de-evolved, evolution then took it's place from there, and in the next 10,000 years humans were radically different, likely the beginnings of nationalities we see today. Though some were so different it makes you wonder where they disappeared to (canonically). Did the Famamune die out? Or were they later separated from the Hamamune and moved to a different planet...

Well, I'm not sure about within the Halo universe, but in reality, ancient -blam!- sapiens would probably fit in pretty comfortably, and if you saw one sitting on the bus in a city, you wouldn't recognize it as something "different". Anatomically, there isn't much difference. Even a Neanderthal could camouflage himself pretty well in a modern world. -blam!- floresiensis (which I think is that Halo Universe's "Florian") would not be able to do so. Flores Man could probably chemically interbreed with -blam!- sapiens, but definitely didn't. Standing at around three feet high or shorter would set off alarms if one were to step onto a bus with you.

possible idea for Halo 4, what if before the forerunners activated the array for the first time, they hid a group of ancient humans deep within shield world, far away from hallsey and red team. after the forerunners disappeared the precursors could of messed with the leftover humans and programmed them to cause chaos when MC shows up aka gets tractor beamed in.

~~Take A~~
~~Chills Pills~~

I just made a thread about a similar subject, be sure to check it out.

Anyway, I guess that your theory could be theoretically possible... but we do not know much about ancient humans besides after the human-forerunner war they were divided into about 6 (need confirmation) sub-species.

Precursors died out before the Forerunners, except for the last one in the Cage

Modern sapiens have been on the planet, relatively the same in terms of genetics, since long before the human-forerunner war. I'm sure the forerunners organized it so that humans would stay within the same gene structure, since that was their whole thing, preservation of races, you know.
