I know both of these you are no longer able to obtain but is there anyway to remove the lowered death barrier patch if you already have them?

I remember spending hours bouncing around red tower on tombstone for hours, just going corner to corner an such. As well as hitting the double monster or quad jump to get out of the map was always fun.

This is actually the stupidest thing ever posted on B.net:

Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

Before the patch you were able to do this and others on Tombstone. The patch just put invisible walls and death barriers all over the place so you couldn't get outside of the map anymore.

When Tombstone and Desolation first came out, they had death barriers but as you saw in that video, there were ways to get around them.
Shortly after these new maps were out, these jumps were found and as so they did an update and lowered the barriers. Try the first jump off the rock youll die.

You then had to re download the patched maps (dont remember if you had to remove the old before downloading the new)

Im wondering if theres anyway for someone now to remove this patch and just be able to jump for fun on the maps like before the patch.

This is the average H2 Fanboy.
Xfire: JacobGRocks.
50 in H2/H3? Great, but you still fail at this.

It looks like a different map version. Probably sitting around on someone's Xbox somewhere....

What do you mean?

Personally i didnt have the updated patch versions for awhile, something messed up with the CC on the account at the time and it wouldnt let me re download them until they went free, even though i had already bought them.

Do you know if you can go into the .map files an remove the patch? Or are you saying they are completely different maps altogether?
