both the 9000 series and 9200 series do this. ive experienced it. its pretty cheap. the camo is more visible than normal. uuuunfortunately i dont have any screenshots either, and dont actually own my old 9000 anymore... so o well. but it does it.

Use a assault rifle and shoot randomly around you,if a bullet of the assault hit the invisible dude, the camo will be visible a bit, then you can kill the guy. Ez as that. or you and use a sniper rifle and use the night vision to see them,it will be a bit less invisible to see em.

I just got two mac minis in my house to go along with my iMac core duo. I was impressed by the mini's Radeon 9200 with 64 MB of video RAM (4x AGP) I played it with everything on lowest and off except for particles at high and texture quality at medium. The only thing is that it only has vertex shaders, not pixel so nobody's shiny, I don't know what the setting is to make it shiny, if anybody knows, please tell me.

So, if i've got mobility radeon 9000 (dx8 support), will i be able to get the right camo effect at all? I've tried forcing it 2 1.1 and 1.4 but no dice.It just looks like their entire suit turned a dif. color. 1.1 and 1.4 should be supported as my card does dx8 right?

dont bother its a crappy card. If you buy a videocard just so you can "cheat" thats pathetic. Your willing to spend more money just so you can have a very very slight advantage....damn

I had no idea that in HaloPC you were suppossed to go invisible. It looked to me as if you just went into a solid color as the ground you were walking on.

You can debate if its cheating or not, but intentionally doing it to see invis people is lame whichever way you look at it.

ridiculous q for some one who has been playing as long as me but night vision on the sniper rifle (how do you enable that?)

First, when playing on PC, press Q when you are in any optical standard on the sniper rifle (ie turn the torch on whilst looking down it).

Second, finding invisible people through bending light or a crappy graphics card is ethnically wrong when you deliberately set your graphics card to that, you nong.

How in heck are you able to play on a crappy graphics card anyway?

Besides, it's not terribly hard on PC.

Ethically, it's okay to be shot in the head because someone's a better player and knows where to look. Ethically, it's NOT okay to be shot in the head when someone decides they can score some quick kills with a bad graphics card.

it is also easier to see in the light, or against darker terrain, the camo is weaker against light.
