Subject: I should leave Bungie.net for this

This thread has been up for over 12 hours in the Flood.

It is offensive and breaks forum rules as it is obviously political in nature.

I can only assume that its continued existence shows that either Bungie or Bungie's moderators agree with it.

I realize that I will likely be banned for this thread, but am so angry that I do not care, and am considering leaving anyways.

Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.

Quinntology.

I read about two sentences of that article and stopped. Not only is that article offensive, but it's biased and the writer is misinformed.

I'm inclined to agree with you here.

1. It has 23 pages of replies. This means that a Moderator would have seen it by now and decided it's acceptable.

2. If you don't like a thread or its content, don't open it.

3. You won't get banned for creating this thread.

He'd have instantly stopped and knelt down, one fist on the ground, hoping to be impervious to the officer's attacks. When this would have failed and he's in the back of the police car, he'd blame his predicament on his friends for not being team players.

While I agree the thread should be locked, you are not obligated to read the threads you don't approve of.

What's more, Yoozel has posted in there several times as I understand it. That is ridiculous. If you can't look at that post and see that it is political in nature you need to be first yelled at until you go deaf and then have your vision corrected.

Also, the fact that that person would even think to post something like that is excessively offensive, ungrateful, disturbing, and wrong. I used to respect VII Toast, but I honestly can't take him seriously anymore after making that. Even if he is trolling. idgaf.

I'm not sure how you really respected Toast at some point. He's like an unfunny Pillage.

Also, I have seen threads that were a lot "nicer" than that and they were locked almost immediately. A rule is a rule and that thread is full of political banter, flaming, and the OP is trolling. Makes no sense.

Yoozel obviously believes it is thread-worthy, so no point arguing. Who would know the rules better then a Moderator?

Troll confirmed. I never even insulted you

OP - You're a dumbass with the reading comprehension skills of a second grader.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with these two, this made me LOL hard.

Seems like a mod deemed it as alright seeing as the OP didn't do the following:

1: Agree or disagree with the article linked.
2: Began flaming others.
3: Trolled.

Instead, the OP did the following:

1: Provided a link to a controversial topic OUTSIDE of Bnet.
2: Did not provide an opinion, only reported it.
3: The OP kept a neutral view by just posting the first sentences of the article without editing it or adding anything else.

The rules say threads cannot be political or misleading, and it is both.

I don't care what Yoozel thinks. I'm saying I think he is wrong. I'm allowed to do that. Voicing you're opinion IS allowed.

That thread is filled with political bull-blam!-. I'm surprised Toast still has his blue bar.

Brainwashing, idiotic media: "hur dur, vido gaems cas vilenc n iz nt gud. dey ned 2 b baned."

Logic: Really? Then please explain how there's violence in third world countries. I guess they're all poor due to the large amount of video games they buy.

What's wrong with people discussing things such as this? I find it rather intellectual compared to posts about CoD vs. whatever and other pointless, generic threads.

Just ignore it. There's no need to leave for one thread regardless of how offensive you believe it is.

What's wrong with it is that its against the BNet Code of Conduct. You're not allowed to discuss anything of political or religious relevance. At all. Ever. Especially a whole thread about it.

And the fact that Yoozel is encouraging it by both posting in it and not locking it is basically representative of him pissing on the Code of Conduct.

You are all whining about why the thread isn't locked and the OP losing his prefix, well, I'm saying if you don't understand how to moderate or what to take into consideration when you are the one in charge you best not to say anything.

1. I understand how to "moderator".

2. I get what they have to take into consideration when they're in charge.

3. That thread is the textbook definition of breaking a BNet Forum Rule.

4. Yoozel is posting in it without locking it.

5. He is encouraging the continued posting in a thread that is clearly breaking the rules, hence encouraging the breaking of the rules.

6. This is not how you properly "moderator".

7. He did not take into consideration any of the things you should when you are "the one in charge".

  • 08.09.2011 12:05 AM PDT

Dianna Agron is the epitome of perfection.

Quinntology.

What?! So you're implying that since none of us are "in charge" that we can't discuss something that is clearly breaking the rules?

God, I hope you're trolling.
