"I don't care if it's God's own anti-Son of a -blam!- Machine or a giant hula-hoop!"

I like the first 2.

Likes on this site will be turned into a competition and popularity contest. As well as comments similar to, "Like this if..."

Social networking has already proven itself, and would make sense for Bungie to get in on the action. EA (Battlelog) and Activision (Call of Duty Elite) have already created some video game oriented social networks.

I realize Bungie is a developer, but if they integrated basic social networking features, I think this site would be much more popular. I'm guessing they are working on putting the idea into action and I'm hoping it will be in operation in time for their new IP.

bungie.net is not a social networking site.

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

There's a website for all of that. It's called Facebook, or Google+.

I am the dark shadow haunting and lunking in the corner of your basement visiting B.net and asking for chocolate.

You didn't really need a poll for this...

But anyways, Achronos has said that he has no plans for making Bungie.net more of a social network like Facebook despite Bungie.net being it's own type of social network. Many people have suggested ideas similar to yours before in the past.

-Adding friends is a cool idea especially since Bungie will be going multiplatform soon, but ultimately it's not a big deal.

-Appearing online/offline would be helpful for mod tracking, but we already have uStalker. Another problem with this is that many people most likely leave Bungie.net open on their browser when they're away.

-Like button is just meh. Sorry, but that's really cheesy for Bungie.net

I'd rather see a notification system to see when someone quoted you (despite there being problems with this idea as well) and possibly an update to user customization to their profile and more group features. But most likely a lot of these features won't come into fruition for a long time. One of the reasons Myspace failed was because it gave their users too much freedom. Bungie.net looks good with how it is but there's always room for improvement.

Yeah. I really dont know why i put Like button i just felt like i needed 3 things listed. But i think it would be could to add friends on here so you can keep in touch on stuff. I also do like the idea of online/or offline so then you know when you could msg someone or know that there not online anymore. I also liked your idea blah blah117. Notifications would help a bit more.

  • gamertag: iBIind
  • user homepage:

Whoo.

1. What possible use would that have?
2. While it would have it's uses, I'd prefer it if our online status stayed undisplayed, I don't want people thinking I'm ignoring them because I either went off to do something else or went to another thread or something like that.
3. Again what possible use would that have?

Good ideas.

Im not that big a fan of facebook intigration, but thats just me.

I would like to have the ability to change my armor or inventory items ( if rpg or mmo) from the browser if im away from the xbox... Or even change my logo (army of two tfd you cold build your mask via browser and wear it in game and online mp. That was an awesome thng, i think bungie can do better.)

I would also like to see a friend tracker wherenit will display how many games with or against each friend...

More stats and no not like cod elite, no extra payment to see them... Render video is different, would be bice if free bu i understand.

first two are good, not sure about the other two.

We were somewhere around Barstow...

I don't see why these ideas shouldn't be implemented, besides the fact it might be a pain for the webteam to make. Having a separate friends list for Bnet is a good idea, I doubt the Bungie hierarcy would want just XBL friends integration, what with their new game apparently being multi-platform.
