Yeah.
It's pretty hard to get a joke on the internet, especially if the post is reported enough to not get the joke.
I get it now.

I would ban the OP for that.
I understand. Many people might.
But here's the amazing thing (if you really think about it).
The folks at Bungie, (our hosts) constantly SAY they "love the fans", but this is an example of them SHOWING that they really do. The Bungie Culture (as shown in the last vidoc) has always revolved around good, cool people who work hard, play hard, and can handle both criticism and a good joke (even if the joke is on them).
It's sort of a college dorm, volunteer firehouse, team locker room kind of camaraderie. As long as it is done with a smile, towel snaps, purple nurples, elbows to the ribs and rude jokes are part of the fun. Bungie wants us to know that they understand that we like them, and they actually like us too! It's not a customer/company relationship in this community. It's a "we're all here to have some fun, be serious when it matters, but most of all, we're enjoying hanging out with other people who know how to be cool."
It's unique, I don't know that it exists anywhere else. It's a fine line to walk (some folks try to play jokes, but they are too mean, too cruel, too.... wrong." But it's even possible to live and learn from those instances too.
I've been around this community a long time and I have learned that if your first impulse is to "fire are guns", then maybe you should take a moment to see if other people are smiling and laughing. After all, it is okay to be the guy who didn't get the joke that one time. If you are ALWAYS "that guy", it starts to really suck.
