This is fake; Bungie's new IP will not be involved with the Halo Universe.

Planet Unknown ATM sounds both mysterious and financial.

Obviously, they don't own the Halo Universe anymore. Maybe OP was just using familiar terminology to describe it. Like there will be a single governing body, but it won't be called the UNSC.

Everywhere and Nowhere

MMO, yes I think it will be. But from the sounds of it, Bungie is looking to tie in multiple platforms in the same universe - a pretty ambitious feat. Like others have said, Microsoft owns the rights to the Halo franchise now, so this will be a new universe of Bungie's creation (pretty sure they said that themselves more than once). I can't wait to finally find out what it is... next year Bungie? pleeeeeeaaaaase? :-)

If I had a Rocket Launcher, I'd make somebody pay.

Seems to be quite a lot of fuzz about cross platforming. While it sounds absolutely -blam!, the question is whether it practically can be done at all.

I know console vs. pc has been a feature before on both the 360 (e.g. Shadowrun) and PS3 (e.g. Dust 514). But I hardly believe it would be possible for 360 owners play against PS3, much due to various terms from both console manufacturers.

If this next project is supposed to be an MMO, I think the different versions will be independent from one another. But hey I might be wrong! (Which I definitely hope)

"Even in death, your Sergeant guides us home."

noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, but i could see it happen considering thats how bungie got its start.

Eat, Sleep, Row

1. This thread is now about quoting Urk.
2. Half of OP's post involved parts of the Halo Universe being in Bungie's next game. Not possible.

Super Halo Fan & Graphics Designer.

It sounded like a pretty good story, but then he started saying stuff about the Halo Universe. Sorry dude, but those days are over for Bungie, unfortunately....

This sounds plausible, but remove the Halo Universe and insert new, creative Bungie universe.

What's more to say but i live day by day. Never forgetting that my impact on the world isn't that important. Always waiting for the end of the day. Night is the most important. Welcome to my world you will find that the sun is unimportant.

Bungies next game is an MMO which takes place on the planet(unknown atm). You start off as a civilian boy who comes of age to become a marine or into a special program. Bungie specializes your storyline as you rank up and gain xp and become what you want as you slowly go towards a master rank working your way through different positions within the UNSC army. If you fail trials though while in the beginning you may be placed by officers into different fields. Although the game only allows you to be a male, females are invited to play anyways even if it does mean its kind of a tranny situation. Bungies new realm is featuring an entire world that you will be a part of saving along with the entire bungie universe as Bungie will be incorporating the entire community into one game.

Over time, bungie will release new updates to the public that are free to download which will slowly develop and allow players to conquer new areas that are being developed as fast as they can make them. Bungies price per month for playing DESTINY will be in a range of $5-$10 per month depending on Microsofts MMO deals with bungie.

{Prepare for a new universal game}
{Prepare for a world that all bungie fans have anticipated}
{Prepare to... do everything youve wanted to do including driving a pelican or becoming the UNSC General commanding troops across your planet and ridding your world of Covanant filth, and maybe one day, in the future, you will take the fight back to them.}

There is no way that bungie can make that. For one they said they wanted to do something new (as in something not to do with halo. Void if this has nothing to do with halo.). Two 343 will be handling the halo franchise, unless this just has similar names. If they do by chance make this i am sorry for mocking this idea

¡Hoka Hey!

Bungie has not the rights for Halo Universe, 343/Microsoft has the rights but they can ask Bungie to develop another game, just like that, if Bungie agree or not is another discussion but the OP theory looks possible.

Currently residing in Sweden, maybe i'll head out to Seattle in a couple of years...

Playing Battlefield 3 (PC) atm, add me on Origin / Battlelog: Entrophee

Everyone, please stop making conclusions about a ''Halo MMO or ''Bungie's new Halo related project'' It's not going to happen. If you please look at this picture for a moment You'll see Earth, The Moon and a text above which says: ''Destiny Awaits''. And a new emblem which is seen in The ''O Brave New World'' ViDoc on a Bungie employee's T-shirt...

I found this picture of a Destiny / Project Tiger marine

Wow wow< back up a second< where did this image come from? I doubt that is from Bungie< but I might be wrong because I usually am.

I also highly doubt that Bungie would use the acronym UNSC because it almost has a direct correlation with Halo which that no longer own the rights to. But then again I am usually wrong.

~Quinton~

That image looks cool, but it's not from Bungie.

Proof : http://www.danluvisiart.com/showcase.html

Look at the 3rd image.
Also look at the Signature, the other pic had the signature covered.
It looks so good though... D:
