shhhhhhh

I used to have it all the time on my old Xbox with Tom Clancy and Ubisoft games it seem. I don't know what causes these errors, so look around online for this.

And for this, maybe Flood.
Or you can go to Xbox.com and ask on their forums.

This happened to my friend. He said that only Halo and Halo 2 worked. We didn't know what to do and someone said something to the effect of "It happens when your Xbox gets so used to playing one game that it can't recognize the others." I still don't know if he was joking or not. Anyway, we just waited for a couple weeks and then it worked fine.

And yes, this would be best in the Flood.

I am a gamer like hardcore and I like to buy the newest best games like Half Life 2 and Far Cry Insticts and Tom Clancy Games, but recintly all the games I buy only say "The disc you are using may be dirty or damaged"
This messege has come up for
Call of duty: Finest Hour
Half Life 2
Tron 2.0 killer App
Far Cry Insticts
Tom Clancies Rainbow Six 3 Lockdown

I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? And NO I do not have a modded xbox its all stock Ive tried disc and lazer cleaners, nothing works can anyone help me?

Skillet was here and referred to himself in the third person.

It used to happen to Halo 2 in the winter because I have no heat in my room...*cries*
And it happens all the time on Morrowind...and that really sucks when I just beat a really hard dungeon and it took me 2 hours and it locks up and...DAMMIT!

I just lost all my freakin' data since my last save...thats the reason why I only have one controller now...

The other one ended up laying on the floor next to my wall...it only has one working joystick and 2 face buttons left...and ther is a large dent/black mark on my wall!

Whenever that happens I:

1.) Try the game, if it doesn't work...

2.) I try other games, If that doesn't work I...

3.) Give the Xbox a "blow job" and blow into the open disc tray. Sometimes that works... if not...

4.) I hit the Xbox on the top, really hard. This has worked for me all but once, what I did then was...

5.) Opened my Xbox, and blew into it until the room looked purple.

What type of drive do you have? If it's a Thompson drive, then you need to get a new one.
