Subject: WTF ???

Flame Sama's Portal. Home of the anti-emo teenage writer/gamer Flame Sama, stop by and read some time.

By the way, my gamertag is really 'Flame Sama'.

This account is inactive-it's a relic of a former time for Bungie.net, back when groups were riding high prior to the release Halo 3.

No Frank Miller ?

I'll get the "HGN" for a b-day present, (I was born in July, when it's gonna be released), looking foward to it until then.

But still, No Frank Miller ?

Is it just me or did Frankie edit the update with the number of stories and release date like I asked him too, or am I just blind and missed it the first read through.

  • 03.17.2006 9:39 PM PDT

WOW an update with actual news.

Thanks!

Tthe graphic novel looks very very interesting, I'll most likely buy it.

haha you guys are really milking Halo to death. Not that theres anything wrong with that, as long as all the milking remains high quality (like this looks to be) then its all good.

:)

i really appreciate the update but you said this would be the stop "-blam!-ing" update and by not announcing the next project, you have done nothing to stop the "-blam!-ing."

sweet HGN and what about today in GI with Forerunner

  • 03.17.2006 11:36 PM PDT

Reach is hot garbage.

More Halo novels are to come from Marvel. So says Marvel in the GameSpot news story...

That vision might be achieved several times over. Marvel has signed an exclusive deal with Bungie for the comic rights to the Halo series, and has promised that additional projects based on the license are in the works.

Meh, i'll probably buy the comic, but like other people said, i'm not that impressed by the artwork. Better than i could do though.
And by the way;
Best.
Mister Chief.
Ever.

I'm more interested in the New Project, then in HGN, but it's cool that bungie starts talking... I've heard, on a site, the new project is called: Halo3: Forerunner.

I quess this is bull-blam!- again?

Halo 3 (31st), ODST (14th) and Reach (4th) Mythic Conqueror. (Mythic is Solo, Legendary, All skulls on + scoring on and no deaths/saves).

Cool, and the perfect time to get it for my birthday! *hopes for early July release*

I actually really like that cover art. I still can't believe Marvel is publishing this. wow.

This will be a very interesting comic, I must say. What will the "secret project" be? Halo 3, one of those old Marathon games? Or... what?

Im sure they will tell us what the next project is soon to come, right after they get anonymous death threats from impacient fans...anyway, they probably wont release Halo 3(or there "secret project") until, or after, the PS3 comes out.

Wow. HGN is going to be one of the greatest comics ever. I have been waiting 4 years, 4 months, and 5 days for this moment. I am a big classical comic fan and can't wait to see this on the shelves.

And in my opinion, no one can top the art of Frankie’s. He doesn’t even try and it looks good. Now that is skill.

Amen Aktins. Amen.

Frankie is awesome.

[Edited on 7/7/2006 by Frankie]

I wonder what he said before Frankie edited it?

Oy, Frankie!

When do we get to see a full scale Mister Chief comic? You could call it "The Lost Adventures of Mister Chief". Hell, I'd pay to see that!

For Carnage, Apply Within.

I have returned from the Untamed Lands. MOAP is dead.

I like the idea of the HGN. I’m just wondering why the Elite’s are portrayed in a harsh manner in the comic. While in the video game the Elite’s are noble heroic warriors, merely being guided by the twisted agenda of the Hierarches.
Probably because they are being portrayed as these beasts from the eyes of a civilian or even a soldier. To them they are unstoppable and devilish. Not just some 'noble warrior' who wishes to do his kings bidding, but a demon who wishes to destroy the entire human race.
