I was browsing Halo CE's program files when I came across this under Boarding Action's bitmaps. Looks like we'd be able to find this hidden somewhere in the map itself, too. A bungie employee's wife, I'd assume. I'll update the thread if I come across anything else.

So you went to the trouble of clicking on my profile, either to send a group invite or hate message, or to check my Halo stats and call me a BK. I like Peanut Butter Waffles.

Nice find.

I found another easter egg. During the openning cutscene of The Maw, you'll notice the marathon symbol etched into the side of the Pillar of Autumn. Marathon was a game series made by Bungie before the existance of Halo.

Soon to be breaking news:

US Coast Guard prepares for massive rescue mission after Iranian fleet sinks off shore. Reports say a small thunderstorm caused most of the ships to simply...fall apart.

A lot of people already know about the Marathon symbol. There's references to Marathon everywhere.

Well if the marathon symbol's too common, how about Sgt. Johnson's twin brother? he can be seen driving one of the warthogs in the first mission's openning scene.

What do you mean by that? State your mind, if you think you know everything.

Since he was just a "normal" marine in CE, his character model is duplicated at times. OP, enjoy this Easter Egg...there's a chance it might not make it to CEA.

Look, I know that Johnson's clone might not be an easter egg but it's still amusing to see two of him at once.

Also, did you know that half the map is already loaded right from the moment you begin a level? I found this out by usage of flycam while playing the same game on PC.

Complete with the underground tunnel system and bridging system where you have to use the panel to activate the bridge. No idea why that area and tunnels beyond are loaded from the moment you begin the mission but it's interesting, regardless. It doesn't even affect the game's performance. That's something you can't expect with CEA.

Hey i found an easter egg a few years ago before i even had a bungie.net profile, the one problem is i cant remember if it was in halo CE or halo 2, but it was on the xbox on the multiplayer map Blood Gulch or Coagulation, i just cant remember which game, we had been on for hours and we were all on something like 70 - 120 kills each (we were like 10 and loved halo offline multiplayer) but two of us were in a warthog and drove it through the small like nook which your supposed to walk through, on the far left in this picture,

when we drove through it, we ran someone over, and it did the mario scream!
the thing is, i've never seen anyone post about it, i do know that the scream was also in the Halo 3 beta, but it was removed, i have a strong feeling it was Halo 2 but i may be wrong. my guess is that maybe it was someone's 77'th kill. also this was on the original xbox with 3 players. I know this probably sounds like i'm trollin' but this is one of my craziest halo memories, we were sat around just thinking, WTF is that!? but it definately happened. I may come round to recreating the egg, but all the info's there if anyone else wants to try it.
