Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

After doing some roaming around Mombasa Streets, with my friend, we were pondering the meaning of the glyphs and other "clues." I believe they hinted toward another Halo trilogy. Either way, I guess it doesn't really matter since we already know there's another trilogy. But, I still think it was cool if they were hinting there all along. It could be a plausible theory or just a bunch of garbage. Either way, here's what I put together:

Alright, so in Mombasa Streets I found BELIEVE spray painted on the wall. Then around it I saw Y-shaped glyphs with dead Elites around them. Also, this could be of no significance, I found a Recycling sign with an R and a rotating arrow. Also, you know how there's number on certain buildings? Well, this must've been the 6 region since that number was around.

Anyway, I think all of this was here to hint at the new Halo trilogy. Think about it. The Y shaped glyphs...the Deadnaught - Forerunner. The new trilogy is supposed to be a sequel and prequel. Obviously Forerunners are going to have a major role. Dead Elites...Frankie stated there will be no Covenant or "no purple" in the new trilogy. BELIEVE could've been saying, "Believe that the Halo series will continue." Or something along those lines. The number 6 - the new trilogy will be going up to Halo 6. Another hinting that it'll be a trilogy and not just one more game. Lastly, this is a stretch, the Recycling signs could also have hinted toward a new trilogy. There's already one trilogy. Now, they're "recycling"...doing another trilogy.

Just like the number of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop, the world may never know...except Bungie.

BELIEVE was the Halo 3 viral campaign. The most notable BELIEVE ad was the diorama with the piano music playing in the background. It was a series of live action shorts. They depicted interviews of retired UNSC servicemen who served during the Human-Covenant War, mostly during the Battle of Mombasa and the Battle of Earth or served alongside Master Chief in the field (they are not canon, however).

My other car is a hummer...

What the hell is a puma?

I think you might be thinking about this a little too hard. Nice try though.

If it was the same company making the next trilogy (Bungie), then it might have been more plausible. Unless 343 had discussed their plans (or even been fully assembled) at the time of ODST, then maybe so, I don't know. And like what the Blitzkrieg460 said, BELIEVE was just part of Halo 3's ad campaign.

It's a stretch, but nice thinking.

Yeah, true. That's what Mombasa Streets does to you. Haha. It was worth a shot.

Yo wazup, HALO longtime fan, LEGENDARY player, cant wait to see the bright future 343i will bring to the halo franchise :)

Bungie started thinking about armor abilities during the making of ODST, I was playing firefight with friends last week and a brute evaded away from my rpg shot.

*facepalm...* Elites and brutes have ALWAYS been able to evade like they do in Reach. Also, how does this have to do with the new trilogy easter eggs? And finally, it's called a rocket launcher in halo! Only CoD tryhards call it an rpg!

Well, you're here. We have much to discuss.

The BELIEVE has dead elites with dual energy swords dead by it, meaning BELIEVE that you can't dual wield energy swords.

They said the new trilogy will serve as a sequel and a prequel. Meaning, they're going very deep with Halo lore. We're going to learn a lot of backstory about the Forerunners and Precursors, most likely.

Do you know what kind of hat I'm wearing?

A party hat; you don't get one. An honor will this party be, a party in your honor, for your honor. Some of Tfear's personal guards are going to be there. You'll be introduced shortly.

Prepare to die.

Some theories have some reasoning and seem plausible.

You are going from a simple Y shape to predicting the Halo 4 plot.

(There are also multiple different numbers on the building, it depends on where you are at the moment.)
