Everyone is entitled to their own wrong opinion.

I'm part of the Bungie.net Minecraft group/server called SeptaCrafters
We're a Bungie.net group that goes to our very own Bungie server. Most players are from the Halo community either off Bungie itself or through word to Halo friends.

For a while I never played for K/D but then I found out there wa s away to check it while I was on Reach.

My K/D right now is 1.58, but if I had noticed this when I first started playing it could be over 2 by now.

1.03

Ruined with infection from my first 300 games lol.

Technically speaking, there are hundreds of thousands of people, not including guests, that play Halo and come out negative every game, but don't play that much. Those same people do not know this website exists. Also, there are plenty of people with legit K/D's above 1.0 without killing guests, hence the majority has a K/D below 1.0.

My legit Killtrocity

Camping like a 'mouth breather'
If Fed Ex and UPS merged into one company, would it be called Fed Up?

I don't want to start another account for a digital number that has no true value in ten years.

1.27 but I play a lot of action sack, any other playlist I regularly play lies between 1.4-1.8

No, they don't. Not in this poll, and not throughout the game. Don't make excuses because you suck.

  • 08.12.2011 8:07 AM PDT

1.90.

I'm trying to raise it, but when I can't get a good group for TS, Arena, or BTB, it's hard to start playing at all; randoms are a horrible place to start.

My stats in Halol 4

Typical Waypoint post.
no it's "its got to go" you wouldn't say the "it is got to go" would you?

1.72.

Quite an upgrade from 1.32 don't you think? I need to stop griefing in LD.

Frank O'Connor said he doesn't think the Halo series needs to be taken in a radical new direction... it just needs to go "deeper"

"Ultimately the core game mechanic and strength of the universe doesn't need to be changed, it just needs to be taken deeper. We want to make Halo games - we don't want to make Call of Duty or Ridge Racer. We want to make Halo games because we understand what's special about Halo."

Avove 2.

Don't even try to raise it, and don't care if it falls bellow 2.

It just shows that I dislike the respawn screen LOL.

  • 08.12.2011 8:15 AM PDT

My kill/death ratio 1.28 and its been that for a while.

Zekezan88 is correct. K/D is a ratio, meaning that all players should fall on a bell curve with 1:1 (or 1.0) being in the center. Mathematically speaking, there has to be a pool of players who are below 1.0 to feed everyone who has > 1.0 on this thread.

Therefore, someone who has a 1.0 K/D ratio is not a "bad" player, but rather is a totally average player who sits right at the top of the bell curve.

Posted by: Darius2301The only flaw in your case it guests. Guest's stats don't get stored for any specific player, but do get included in the aggregate.

If a player kills a guest, then there is 1 kill and 1 death recorded for the aggregate, but there is 1 kill and 0 deaths recorded for individual player stats.

This is why the individual average k/d is skewed above 1.00 while the aggregate remains slightly below 1.00.

Gotcha, yeah that makes sense.

This is why the individual average k/d is skewed above 1.00 while the aggregate remains slightly below 1.00.

Although, wouldn't that assume that the aggregate for all guests < 1.0 K/D ratio? As I think about it, that's probably right.

Wrong...stats don't mean a damn thing if you lose the game.

You're only lying to yourself if you lie in a completely anonymous poll. I'd like this to be accurate.

actually no, I'm lying to you, and anybody who reads the poll

The average K/D is higher than 1 because guest deaths are not tracked on bnet. Probably 1.25 or something; I feel like a poll like this would be the only way to get an accurate representation of where the average K/D would lie, unless Bungie/343 secretly tracked guest deaths and released those numbers. Or released your k/d against guests.

Actually, does anyone have the paid Halotracker or HC? Does it tell you your KD against guests there? If not, well never know.

Well the site average for HC is just under 1.30. People say that's skewed because only good players are on HC, but it will track anyone who's GT has ever been searched on the site, so there are plenty of k/d's below 1.00 on there.

I'd say the site average is a little inflated, but not far off.

B Rye

I play alone most of the time so of course I'm going to lose xD I usually play teams while I'm alone with randoms.

"It is not a goal, but a process. The process of creating the perfect world."

1.78.

I'm pretty sure that B.net will be overall positive. The worst players in the game probably don't know that B.net (or waypoint forums for that matter) exists.
