Well son, I guess that you could, but you'd probably better pet him first.

LMAO

You say tomato; I say potato.

Recon, is that really how your dad walked you through The Talk?

Gramps right here sent me the biggest list of offenses i've ever seen. And they were all mine. They were all pretty minor, flaming or spamming, but like others have said, the more your offenses seem intentional, the higher your chances are

Young Boy - I see that dog can also lick his privates. Did you ever wish that you could do that?

Wise Father - Well son, I guess that you could, but you'd probably better pet him first.

The metaphor was funny enough, but this made it hilarious.

it depends on the offense more than how many times you have been banned.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.

Someone didn't like the dog/stick metaphor.
I did.

I'm sure. You elder folk have had a lot of time to... ah... experiment with life's offerings, so it was probably more relevant.

Yo Halo53, I'm real happy for you and I'ma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best bungie.net profiles of all time. OF ALL TIME!

How many bans does it take to get perma-banned? Exactly the same as the number of licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie-pop.

Or you can go with Recon's story. In fact, definitely go with Recon's story.

:)

I was permabanned on my first offense for making a parody thread. Many other users have had the same thing happen to them.

It really just depends on how the moderator in question is feeling.

Young Boy - Dad, how many pokes with a stick before that dog bites me?

Wise Father - Son, it's not a matter of how many that you get in before he bites you, it's the one that makes him bite you that you should be worried about. You see, dogs aren't counting pokes.

They'll take the first poke or two and figure that you're a dumbass kid who doesn't know any better. Then, if you keep on poking, they'll growl deep in their chest thinking that should get the message through. But, if you keep it up, then they will snarl and show their teeth. If you keep on poking, well, sooner or later they will rip your throat out. Does that make them a mean dog? No, it means they were a pretty damned patient dog, a mean one would have torn into you just for pointing a stick at it.

Young Boy - Dad?

Wise Father - Yes son?

Young Boy - I see that dog can also lick his privates. Did you ever wish that you could do that?

Wise Father - Well son, I guess that you could, but you'd probably better pet him first.

Recon, teaching with metaphors.

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

Depends. If I ban you it's decided by a variety of random factors. If TOM T 117 handles it then you won't get permabanned (he has actually never banned anyone).

I wear the cheese, it does not wear me.

This account is now retired due to WLID changing. Webteam needs to fix that, seriously >.>

Treat that dog/poking metaphor like a stamp: lick it and then stick it. It won't mind the poking then. Also since I'm here and I'm feeling silly, does anyone know how many fans does it take to be permafanned?

Huh? I'm pretty sure I've been banned by Tom T before...?

Unless you're talking about permabans.. In which case, never mind. :)
