Subject: Do You Think The Forerunners Will Be In Halo 4?

I think it's very possible, some could be our allies, some could be the enemy. Some may be angry that a human has found the installation, or they know who MC is, and what he's done to two Halos and the Ark.

Bungie is not with Halo anymore, they are not making Halo 4. Why are you trying to discuss it here?

Well until Bungie gives a single detail on what they're working on next, I'd assume it would be alright for people to discuss what's in the next game of the franchise that Bungie, y'know, made.

Actually no its not, go discuss Halo 4 over at the 343 forums or a fan site about Halo 4 discussion.

They even had a sticky at one point in the Reach forums right after E3 to not talk about CEA or H4 in their forums.

It has nothing to do with them, theres no need to discuss it on their forums.

I see. I was unaware of that request since I haven't been using these forums earlier this year and I haven't been using the Reach forums. How about you pick a topic, then?

Have you read Cryptum?

It had good load of evidence said that Forerunners aren't extinct at all. They simply took off from the galaxy. I think Forerunners are coming back in Halo 4 as they found right time to come back.

You're the only one here who seems to have a problem with it. go away.....

As for the topic...

Personally I have no idea what to expect in Halo 4. I'm thinking either Forerunners, Precursors or something entirely new. Like I said, no idea.

Yes there will be forunners and I believe they will be allies against a new enemy.

It had good load of evidence said that Forerunners aren't extinct at all. They simply took off from the galaxy. I think Forerunners are coming back in Halo 4 as they found right time to come back.

Everyone keeps saying that, but I read Cryptum and don't remember seeing that.

How did Bornstellar write the book if he's dead? You know how he alludes to himself in the present on occasion?

And also, read the Encyclopedia and the Terminals. Both of them say the Forerunners actually left the galaxy on the true Great Journey.

I haven't read the Encyclopedia, but the Terminals say no such thing. They say the opposite; the firing of the Halos is called a false transcendence, and "Great Journey" can easily be interpreted as a sarcastic remark.

And all Born referring to himself in the present means he's recording his thoughts at SOME later point, not necessarily after the Halos were fired. I don't remember seeing anything that implied that it was after.

Maybe, i dont know what Halo can be based on anymore.

The forerunners died to build the halos. The only thing left of them was technology like the sentinels.

The Terminals don't say the galaxy specifically, but Didact does say "I will begin our Great Journey without you, carrying this bitter record" referring to their exodus after the Halos fire.

Its the Encyclopedia that says it was the galaxy they left. And the IRIS campaign also mentions a Forerunner exodus.

"Time was your ally human. But now it has abandoned you. The Forerunners....have returned. And this tomb... is now yours". - The Didact

Bornstellar says he is going to tell the first part of the 3 parts. Which means he is still alive after the third book.

BTW Chakas is alive too and it seems he will meet the Chief later.
