Why does everyone hate Halo 2? Maybe its because its the worst game ever next to mario.

He wears a mask and cape and looks over Bungie Studios from a high building at night.

I have only know him as the community guy, so you got me.

He is a Marvelous Bauble. I hope I spelled that right.

To marvel us with his bauble

Why do people in ship mutinies always ask for "better treatment"? I'd ask for a pinball machine, because with all that rocking back and forth, you'd get a lot of free games.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind.

What's that mean exactly?

A bauble was originally a stick with a weight attached used as the symbol of a court jester (seen here). More recently it has come to mean a decorative ball attached to a christmas tree (here).

Therefore marvelous bauble means that urk is beautiful and decorates Bungie as well as Bungie.net with his florid prose, but is ultimately insignificant in the larger scheme of things.

That said, urk is on the webteam and I have heard that he works on the site (as more than the newscaster), so he is more important than his title may have you believe.

You should really stop saying "/thread" when the things you say don't even come close to ending a thread (referring to your other post in the Universe).

He's the designated Beard guy at Bungie. Being Chuck Norris' half brother's cousin twice removed is also why he got a job at Bungie.

smart, interesting, seems out of place.

Official fan of Assassin's Creed, Call of Duty, (Problem with that?) Halo, and Bungie, also a total gaming junkie.

Well he is Bungie's Chuck Norris lookalike beard guy and Community guy. AKA he looks like Norris, posts news, writes BWUs, and basically communicates with us while the other Employees make the new games, live their lives, r@pe puppies, blame Stosh, and watch Yoozel and the Webmaster continue their drinking contest.

I wonder who has better job security, better pay and works under better conditions... Urk or an environment artist?

Considering that it's a game company I think the answer will be interesting ;)

(All baseless speculation, of course)

The PR guy is the voice of the company in the public eye (or ear), and because of this a sort of familiarity helps to get their message across. The environmental artist appears as a name in the credits of the game, with his work being a major part of the game itself (but not uniquely linked to his/her name).

Therefore I think that the PR guy would have better job security, however Bungie doesn't seem to stick with the same PR guy for extended periods of time.
