There's so much Reach spam here, it's ridiculous... There should be a sticky that has a link to the Reach forum for the idiots who can't find it (which is disappointing).

I haven't even noticed it. Probably because I ignore it.

I only click on threads that interest me.

Doesn't matter what Bungie does to prevent this kind of thing from happening, there will always be users doing the wrong thing.

Minimisation can work just as well as elimination. But eventually all the spam is locked by the ninjas and the users are either warned or banned. Many do not re-do this mistake

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

Ditto.

Yes, clearly the people who don't realize that it's not okay to post Reach related topics in the Community Forum are exactly the sort of people who read all the stickied threads before posting.

I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."

Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe. While our Halo-related forums and stats remain available, be advised that "official" answers and support about the Halo Universe (past, present, or future) are not.

Halo-related Forums =/= community forum.

i doubt the people you're complaining about read that before posting, even though it's front and center when creating a new topic/reply.

But in terms of this forum people do not get that this forum is related to bungie.net discussion only not about bans or games made by bungie (when there are already forums available)

Don't be a douche -- if they see a sticky saying "If You're Going to Post About HALO: Reach" they might go, "Oh, hey, I'm gonna do that" and click and read.

You mean like the one that says: "Bungie.net Forum Rules"? And yet some people still appear to be surprised when they're banned for something clearly in the rules.

Quite often the calibre of post about Halo is a quick post that has been written up when a person is angry or frustrated about some aspect of the game, and they don't care much for rules then.

8/5/08 Bungie Favorites- NoEnd
7/1/09 Bungie Favorites- RECON Devil
9/9/09 Bungie Favorites- Champion
5/22/10 HaloCharts Favs- Prey

I see more Reach spam in the Universe then the Community, but yeah it's getting ridiculous.

So another sticky containing the same information would be any better? My point is that they're going to ignore it regardless.

^ This.

It's kind of like voting in new members to Congress hoping that they will change things for the better, then they end up doing the same thing as always.

You just get used to it, ignore those spam threads/off topic threads, and move on with your life.

It sucks, but it is a small slap of reality.

Indeed. The mods will just have to keep locking them.
