Subject: Halo 2 Doesn't work on original xbox???

Hello! My name is Bryan Phillis! I am an avid Halo fan, and very much enjoy machinimating (making films with video games) with Halo 3, and many other games! If you wish to see some of my work, or join my video team, then check out my youtube channel, at http://www.youtube.com/brphillis

Alright so here's my issue. I owned an original xbox 7 years ago, and my Halo 2 disc worked perfectly fine on there.

Then I sold my original xbox and bought a 360 and it worked fine on there as well.

But recently I decided to buy an old xbox again, just for nostalgia's sake, and also to play some games that weren't compatible for 360, and for some reason my Halo 2 disc doesn't work on it.

Halo 2 still works fine on my 360, and all my other games work fine on my original xbox. So why won't Halo 2 play?

Can anyone help me with this? Much appreciated!

Bryan

That's weird.

I honestly couldn't explain that if I tried. Is your disc scratched?

If it is, then not much. I already tried cleaning it. So I don't know what's up with this?

I bought an xbox1 a while back and had the opposite problem. Other xbox1 games would not play but Halo 2 played lol. It turned out the dvd player was defective and now it works fine.

Maybe you should take your disc and go to the store you bought it from and try it on another xbox1. If you bought it online try and find a used vid store that has one you can try.
