I cap fools.

I always loved finding easter eggs in Halo games, and was hoping to do the same in Bungie's next game. But, Bungie no longer owns Halo. Can they still legally put Halo- specific easter eggs in their next game?

"On the seventh day, god did not rest, but rather he created 64 player multiplayer!"

Not sure if they can but would it really be that BIG of a deal to Microsoft if they did? It's not like Microsoft would sue them, claiming millions of dollars in lost revenue to other games because they added a subtle Halo reference hidden deep within the game, lol.

I think they can.
Look at Duke Nukem Forever: had an Halo easter egg and Gearbox doesn't even own any Halo rights (except for the Halo PC license if I'm not mistaken).

I think Bungie wouldn't mind any Halo references/easter eggs.

Taylor Gang! 420

I wanna see a cutscene where it shows something from halo in the background like a picture of the chief on a wall in the background or maybe have the seige of Madrigal playing on a radio somewhere that'd be cool

I hope so if they do it should be a secret mission of the campaighn

I DO have time to bleed...i just dont want to.

yes because they put marathon easter eggs in halo

We’re flawed because we want so much more. We’re ruined because we get these things and wish for what we had.

Gear box did it with Duke Nukem:Forever, so why couldn't Bungie?

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

Duke Nukem Forever did.

It could be a reference to Halo, but it couldn't be something from Halo. A hidden Warthog: No. A similar quote: Yes.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

I can see a siege of madrigal easter egg in there new game :D. (Yes i know its from myth the fallen lords)

Eat raw meat.
Punch a bear in the face.

If you don't know who I am, the feeling is mutual.

Nathan Fillion makes nods to Firefly when he does Castle, so Bungie has the right to add nods to Halo in their upcoming games.

Okay, maybe Microsoft would get puffy because they own the rights to Halo, but I'm sure an Easter Egg or two would be fine.
