1) Reach is a Prequel to Halo 1, so we couldn't have a BR.
2) Because it was a prequel, vehicle ops couldn't be more advanced than the three games in the original trilogy
No. I do not want to offend you, but leave the fanboy stuff to the fans. This is not true.
My guess goes to Bungie wanted to make something different, something more human-like. And about the BR, they probably thought it ruled Halo 2 and 3. Which it did, in a way.
All these changes came out bad for a lot of fans (like me, I'm a huge fan. I'm writing fanfic right now!) but others loved it. And Reach isn't that wack, although I must say it's an average Single Player compared to Halo's good single player, and the armor abilities altering the game on a negative way, at least in my opinion. But the custom games are even more fun as they were in Halo 3, so that counts, right? I never liked matchmaking anyways.
