Subject: How Where You Introduced To Bungie?

Spread the love...

Was it from looking at the cover of Halo 3? Perhaps hearing it was a great company from one of your friends? Or where you here long ago, with Myth and Oni?

Post how you were introduced to Bungie.

Someone at GameStop recommended Halo 1 to me (I had just bought an Xbox to play KotoR).

My dad let his co-worker borrow our Ghost Recon and we got this game called Halo that I had never heard of before from them. Turned out we got the better deal.

Well the back of the CE box said something about Bungie.net I think. I joined in the Halo 2 era, but I got it from the box or the manual of CE I think. That's when I started looking at Bungie instead of Halo.

Through my quest to get "Bungie.net" behind my name in Halo 2.

I spend too much time here.. too much time indeed.

I tweet?

Oni introduced me to Bungie, Halo: CE showed me the door. Halo 2 gave me the courage to walk through it.

[Announcement Trailer] Halo: Forerunner

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

I first noticed her out of the corner of my eye right as I walked into the room. We exchanged furtive glances at first; briefly catching each other's attention then, quickly, looking away. I tried not to pay her too much attention (appearing desperate is a rookie mistake after all and would have forever ruined the chance) as I walked briskly across the room and feigned interest in something else. She obviously took the bait as I could still see her glancing at me every few seconds. I had her interest it seemed; I knew then she was as good as mine. I waited for the right moment to lock eyes and as I stared into her perfect visage I knew that I had to have her.

The conversation was intimate but concise. Within minutes we had left; she clasped firmly in my hands. I wasted no time unwrapping her; eagerly awaiting the chance to explore her most intimate secrets. I spent hours probing her depths; exploring every crevice in order to understand what really made her tick. Finally, as we reached the climax she screamed out "Bungie!". I was admittedly confused, but after some further exploration I found out that Bungie was merely her creator. Looking for answers as to who could have created my personal Aphrodite I came to this website, and here I remain.

This is the story of how I purchased Halo, beat the campaign, at the conclusion of the credits saw "Bungie", and used Google.

The end.

Halo 3

I didn't pay attention to the game company when I played CE :>

Back in 2003, my friend invited me to his birthday party over at a internet/LAN cafe place in Honolulu next to Ala Moana. While they were playing Counter Strike and what not, I was looking at other games to play around on. The name "Halo" came up. I looked at the little preview and it looked interesting. First I just started to play the campaign and I was hooked. By the time the party ended I went to the mall nearby and stopped by software etc. and asked for my father to buy me Halo. We bought it, went home and played it.

I was a finalist :P

My friend, Jimmy, told me about the weekly updates in 2005-2006. I never created an account till this year however

I first played Halo CE in 2001. Those were the days!

It's not camping, it's holding the designated location.

Playing CE at my cousins house, but i have vague memories of a game that seems similar to Marathon: Infinity so maybe that. Then I completely forgot about it until I started playing Halo 2, then I just recently found the site.
