"Just as the wave cannot exist for itself, but is ever a part of the heaving surface of the ocean, so must I never live my life for itself, but always in the experience which is going on around me.” - Albert Schweitzer

I heard more about the game, Halo, than I did the company, actually. Eventually, I signed up for bungie.net and after awhile I grew to know the company a little better on my own.

~ Life is Killing Me. ~

~ I hate, therefore I am. ~

This isn't my first account on B.net. I started really cruising these forums back in 2005. I first knew of Bungie from their Marathon games.

I got Halo: CE, and really fell in love with the vision, imagination, and story-telling abilities that Bungie possesses.

I knew about Bungie's web site at that time, but could never get on as our internet connection was so slow that surfing anykind of web would have been pointless.

Through various media (magazine's, etc.) I started hearing about Halo 2. I was so excited, and decided that it was time that I really act on the addiction that had had a hold of me for over 5 years (at that time).

So I got a better computer, got a high speed interwebz connection, and one of the first things I ever did online with said new computer, was to Google Bungie.

I enlisted in the 7th Column as fast as my fingers would allow me to fill in the info, and I have never looked back.

Unfortunately, in 2008, I became homeless thanks to Pres. Bush and his genius workings when the housing bust really kicked into gear, and only recently (mid-2009) was I able to start rebuilding my life.

Unfortunately, I couldn't remember my old GamerTag, my Windows Live ID, or anything that went with it. So I lost my Halo 2 stats, my Membership from 2005, all of it.

But now I'm back, and nothing will make me leave Bungie's 7th Column ever again.

Period.

I'm a Bungie fan, for LIFE! With as well as Bungie appreciates the loyalty of their fans, and shows it to us the way they do, how could I not be a fan for life?

That's my story.

I think signatures are stupid....Oh wait...

I started playing halo 3 and I heard of Recon, of course i wanted it. So i joined Bungie.net and failed and didn't get Recon, but i didn't give up there. I found a group that helps you get Recon and i joined and have had Recon happily since.
There's my story

During Halo 3. I wanted my nameplate, so I came here signed up, was never active. Then I remembered about my Bnet and how it was getting neglected, got on it, went to the forums, and here I am now.

"True Honor lies in the heart of the sword; not the heart of the man"

It all started 5 years ago in the sixth grade. When my friend and I met a friend that was also very tall. He told a story about Halo and we were like -blam!- YEAH. and so we bought an Xbox and Halo 3, well first I bought Halo CE for the PC and then an Xbox and Halo 3. and then I heard of Bungie.net a few weeks later and that is how my story began.

2/15/12: Francisco Porras, I'll miss you. Rest in Peace.

During Halo 2 my friend told be about the website, I was like "Whaaa!? There's a Halo website!?! I'm on my way"
Then I realized it was Bungie's site, it then came to me, that this was even better.

Lurking like a baws. Totally. It's like totally important if I post because I barely post.

Halo 3 introduced me to Bungie.

I went on Bungie.net two months later to sign up.

You imply a level of control over Halo: Reach matchmaking that we no longer have. Or, in your vernacular, it isn't our shiznit anymore.

Hello! You may also know me as Ijnekono. How you have made your way here I do not know, but welcome. (:

My friend invited me over to play a game called Halo: Combat Evolved. He said it would be awesome. I said, "Ok, sounds great!" We played all night long and that is how I was introduced to Bungie.

Infection in Halo 3 isn't zombie killing; it's ethnic cleansing. Have you ever noticed that these "zombies" are just black Spartans?

I knew of Marathon back in the day but had no interest in playing it. It wasn't until I got an Xbox and Halo: CE that I really got interested in Bungie as a developer and not until Halo 2 that I decided to integrate with the community.

I acknowledge my user name is stupid. However, I promise I'm not.

Disclaimer: The latter is a lie.

On a related note, ******'s mom has really nice boobs, and it doesn't take much booze or encouragement to get her to let the puppies out of the pen...if you know what I mean...

I joined pretty late while looking for cool Halo 3 maps.

I'm kind of a noob. Started out with Halo 2 and when you were able to link your gamertag for Halo 3 I saw Bungie.net for the first time. I'm glad I visited that time too.

I am the dark shadow haunting and lunking in the corner of your basement visiting B.net and asking for chocolate.

I went over to a friend's house and instead of playing Call of Duty 3 like I had hoped, we played Halo 2. I got my ass kicked but I trained and kicked their asses eventually.

Asses.
