"You know what happens when you leave someone hanging for too long? They fall."

Recently I have been experiencing some issues with links on this site. I will go to a group, post a link, and hit the submit button just like normal. Then when clicked on, the link brings me to an error page. When I edit my post to see what went wrong there are about three spaces between the last few charecters of the adress. No problem, just delete them; right? Thats the real dilemma. If I do that, then try the link again, it wont work, and has the error page. I use edit to check, and there are those few spaces again. I try to fix them and the process repeats itself again.

Anyone else having these problems?

It usually only occurs when you edit/quote. If you fix all the spaces, and that's ALL of them (as well as ensuring the URL itself is valid), then you should just be able to submit it. You do have to fix the problem each edit, however. If that doesn't work, then there's a real issue, and not one I think any regular forum user can help with. I don't know if preview puts in the spaces, so you might be better off just re-submitting after your edit.

All the time. When i make a thread (Such as an index page for my chapters) i use wordpad, or other suitable program and type it in there, this way when i come to edit it, i can input all the data in wordpad, then check it using the preview.

As for small posts, just check them before you post.

Like you said its the index I'm talking about. Everyway I try to fix it, it doesnt work. I am also positive that it is a valid address.
