It's a broad subject and a great many subsets of the subject are on the wrong side of the "keep it PG-13 or SFW" line.

There's this girl at my school who has a butt the size of two watermelons.

Could I make a thread on how i should go about meeting her without getting banned?

That's not a topic about sex. That is a statement and an issue over where your focus is when viewing women.

So basically, don't go into detail about it?

Basically, there are better places than this.

If someone wants to have a serious and mature conversation, it will be derailed and disrupted almost instantly.

If someone is looking for a juvenile one, it starts disruptive.

Better to find a private group where such antics are less likely or another site where the demographic is a bit more adult.

I'm not interested in talking about it, just trying to see what the rules are exactly.

I don't see how something instinctive and natural should be against the rules to talk about.

I close threads and ban people for scat topics nearly every day. Your assumption is incorrect.

I wear the cheese, it does not wear me.

This account is now retired due to WLID changing. Webteam needs to fix that, seriously >.>

If you have to ask, do you think it's ok?
Thats not always a good answer, if you asked your parents how are babies made is that wrong?

Depends how old you are. =D
Its not wrong at any age, you just get told you'll find out when your older. Asking a cop if you can grow weed is wrong.
You guys are so silly. But yes, it would be wrong if you are an adult. Unless you're ultra sheltered. Though I was referring to the specific question of discussing sex here. On this site. With these "people". No offence flood.

well, recon, this is the internet. one would be hard pressed to find a mature demographic.

No it's not. The flood can keep a good discussion about it, infact you guys make a huge mess in your pants over it. It's not that i don't understand what you want to avoid but cmon, good discussions get locked when some dicktwat derails the discussion. And besides it never gets derailed to a horrible and terrifying path.

I disagree.

This is not the Internet, this is the off-topic forum on a game developers fan community site.

Elsewhere on the Internet there are places for adults and mature people to gather and discuss topics of interest to them. It may be mostly pr0nz and lulz, but it's not ALL pr0nz and lulz.

I was just curious. (please dont ban me for asking)

And YES, I've already read the rules, and found nothing against it, yet I still see people getting banned for it. Im wondering if there are some unwritten rules or something...

This site goes by the highly illogical ideal that mods who are like you and me are omnipotent and never wrong, thus if you get banned for something not listed, or they name off some BS rule that isn't directly said anywhere in the rules, you are banned and cannot appeal, and if you do appeal and you appear to be a moron they have the right to extend your ban.

You know, because they are God and we are Mortal.

Stupid, isn't it?

Interesting observation on your part, you see, I see you attempting to making a mess right now (my pants are fine, thanks). You seem very emotional over a simple question and answer exchange that doesn't fit your worldview. Why so eager to sling barbs?

You could always ban the morons who derail threads, but I guess it's easier to lock them, isn't it?

The despecification of the rules was intentional. People want a comprehensive "yes to this, but no to that" set of guidelines.

But the moment there is anything close to that provided, then the cracks, the loopholes and the details make it impossible to hold anyone to "the list".

Human interaction is too subtle, too subjective and too slippery to try to apply a mathematical standard. So, vague and general guidelines are now the standard and if someone cannot deduce intent, then they are informed when they cross the line that another had decided should not be crossed.

Don't like it? Don't agree to the terms of membership.

Who says that I only do one or the other?

Besides, the decision over who is a moron is very subjective too.

If this is the state of my art, then I secede.

Talking about sex? Probably not. Describing sex? Probably.

That's odd.
