Thanks for the answers, Dommer. If you wouldn't mind picking up a few loose ends as well as answering a few more questions, I'd appreciate it on behalf of HMC...
You mentioned that H2PC in development currently has a level editor for the game programmers and designers, but that it was not ready for external use. Excuse my incoherency from before, but what most of us modders and map designers want to know is, will there be an app that we can use to create our own custom maps and levels, as in the way of HCE (Halo: Custom Edition). Does unfit for "external use" imply that this map designer is not entirely ready for use by the average modder?
You also mentioned that you were looking into other games for ideas on how to improve host control and dedicated server operations. Can you name any games in particular (such as CounterStrike, etc.) that have interesting ideas you might be considering for H2PC?
When I mentioned an "improved" multiplayer experience, I'm afraid I didn't quite elaborate as much as I could have. Will TKers and betrayers, for example, be countered in any way? Will patches be released to counter against online problems like aimbots and hackers? Will impersonation be dealt with (as in, if two people with the same name sign onto a game, will one name be changed)?
To continue your previous statement about improving upon the Xbox version, one major gripe (as well as a praise for some) about H2Xbx was the notorious Matchmaker system. Will H2PC implement a matchmaking system among its users? More importantly, will H2PC players be paying for online gaming? Also, will individual player and clan statistics be officially kept as in Xbox's current method (will players receive clan tags)?
Will H2PC take full advantage of all DX10 technology has to offer?
Has Microsoft stopped working with NVidia on improving DX10 technology?
Again, thanks for your time in answering these questions...
