If that post was meant to make me laugh, congratulations, you have succeeded.

And I'm the dick around here, lol. Noble Team were good soldiers, but if you want to base their skills solely on them dying during the battle of Reach, like most of the S-IIs, be my guest.

Well, you see my point is valid. Noble Team had the S2 genes, and proved themselves to get the MJOLNIR armor. Thus they are techincally better then the average S3.

Though yeah Cobra. Using that logic is lots of fun. I have many examples of it if they are wanted :D.

Just a heads up, Spartan I's didn't exist.

They were the Orion Project, but as an acknowledgement of what they did, they were renamed Spartan Is by Doctor Halsey when she made the S-2s. I think it's pretty safe to assume that S-3s would win, they had the same augmentations as the S-2s, the difference being more of them survived the operations.

Exactly and besides practically all of ORION died because of the augmentations. The ones that were left were horribly disfigured. Not exactly combat ready

What are you talking about? Were did you hear this from. SPARTAN-I's do exist thank you very much. It's called being renamed. Also not everyone was disfigured.

Be your "Q"uest?

Noble Team were far from being good soldiers. I'm not even talking about their horrible AI in the Campaign, just watch the cutscenes and you get a clear idea of how terrible they are.

The fact that they are present in Reach is nothing short of a miracle.

So besides Reach, you have nothing to show how bad they are. LOL.

They only appear in Reach, LOL!

And if you actually wanted me to get some reference, the end results would be that Noble Team never existed.

herp derp why have such a stupid debate with your friend? You do know Spartan Is aren't even superhuman, right?

If by "Superhuman" you mean augmentated...then I think you will find yes, yes they were actually.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

S-I = Johnson

S-III = Carter

  • 08.14.2011 3:32 PM PDT

Nothing suggest Noble team ever existed untill the game and the game is full of holes.

Not really, but you are quite impulsive.

Post when you write something worth reading.

Nothing suggested there are other Spartans in the Halo universe, does that means Linda, Fred, Kelly and others never existed?

-blam!- Was that actually blammed out? Or did I just type it? You'll never know.

Well, I can see what you mean but I don't really like the ending cutscene of Reach. I swear he takes out a high ranking elite in less then half an AR clip. I think it was a tad far fetched. Not to cause an argument I'm just expressing my opinion here. I do like the point you raised though.

Completely agree.

Anyway, if the other Spartan I's are anywhere half as bad ass as Johnson, they'll take out the Spartan III's and still have time to sit down for some Poker and beers before bed.

Cause you know, they are invincible right? If I remember right, Johnson almost got molested by Brutes twice, both times getting captured only to be saved by either John or the Arbiter, a Spartan III on the other hand, they would have no problems dealing with a Brute or two and if it came to hand to hand, they would actually deal some damage, unlike the little taps that the Spartan I's would give to the Brute.

S3 and S2 augmentations yielded basically the same results.

S3 training was better.

Training =/= experience.

But apart from that, the extra augmentations and armor, that are basically the same.

True, and I never said that. However, a S2 and S3 of equal experiance, the S3's training is better concerning tactics and such.

As I view it, the S2 training had lots of academics, while the S3 one had less academics and more warfare related training.

Lol, carter's started his own meme.

Anyway, Jorge would trump carter in more experiance, and larger size.

However, size doesn't mean victory, and the extra experiance beyond basic battlefield stuff wouldn't either.

On-topic, If Johnson and Carter, or Six, had a show down (melee or ranged)... I'm fairly sure Johnson would be the guy who loses.

S-1s didn't get epic armor like S-3s

Believe

My gametag is not sparda34b, it was an error, gamertag is Sparda3b.

S3s would have a huge advantage due to all the advances made in the science of augmenting between their generations plus S3s have been trained since about 6 years old.

Perfect proof... If that were a later spartan the brute would have been in the river and a few broken ribs.
