I think that the last level on Legendary is easier than most of the other levels on Legendary. I mean, I play it a lot and I get through it easy but on other levels on Legendary it's a little harder I think. Thoughts?

It is easier for two reasons:

1. Since there are so many different sides fighting in the level, the full brunt of the force of the enemies' firepower isn't focused on the player as in most previous levels.

2. The driving part is pretty simple after doing it once or twice and knowing a few shortcuts.

The first couple levels as well as 'The Maw' i also think are very easy on Legendary, - dare i say easier than on Elite? I only do it for the 'hug' ending. It still cracks me up, look a reindeer - oh i wasn't supposed to write that...why are you still reading!? Hit me back TT

Caboose: "your a thing that babies suck on?"
Tucker: "no dude, that's a pedephile"
Church: "tucker, i think he means a pacifier"

after getting used to legendary i thought quite a few were fairly easy. many will disagree but i found the library to be easier than some.

Yeah I think the Library is easier than some people say. Since it's so repetitive, you figure out early on in the level where to position yourself for each wave and all that good stuff. But anyway back to the point yeah Incredibus you're right about those things; and I do get bored sometimes waiting for the fighting to cease...

Yeah I get a kick out of the *spoiler* hug too! "This is it, baby."

Do you guys think that the Warthog was a good escape vehicle? I've heard people saying that it stinks but I think it's the best. Thoughts?

whether it is considered good or not, i was a freakin surgeon with that ride. i thought it was fantastic. it had mean drift and if you knew what you were doing you could fish tail and take out a large number of enemies.

Yeah. I never really try to take out any enemies on the final sequence though; but on other levels like The Silent Cartographer that's a really good strategy to use.

A really easy and good trick to do on that level is to drive the Warthog all the way down as far as you can go into the interior where the Gold Elite is and park it backwards so that when you come back out later you can just hop in and bust out of there in your hog instead of fighting your way through.

The taking out of the grunts and elites and flood forms is the best. Would have been better if they used a general lee instead of a warthog.

...Flood on Silent Cartographer? Did I miss something??

Five Tenets of Bungie.net Forum Life:
1. Trolls will always be well fed.
2. Blame-ability thy name is stosh.
3. Bungie has no control over retail prices.
4. Watch out for low-flying defense drones.
5. Seven is not optional, but rather, an inevitability.

I did find the Maw to be a bit easier than the other missions. That was, until I came to the Cryo-Room and Mess Hall. The Flood just hit me with everything they had, and the Spec. Ops. Elites seemed to have a continuous rain of Plasma Grenades heading my way.

this is true, the only thing that makes it hard is being all beatup before you get in to the warthog.

I also found the mess hall difficult, but i usually just run through the Cryo Chamber. Another part i found difficult was the bit just after the Cryo Chamber when you get to where Sam died at the start of the game. There's so many of them!!!

i remeber the first time i tried the wharthog escape on the maw, i accidentially hit one of the flood fatties, he exploded and i went tumbling of the edge of the long jump. was pretty damn hilarious acutally.
