Life is what you make it not what you do with it.

I am writing this to get the opinion of the community. My question is this. Do you think that Bungie taking time off is a good thing or bad thing? My argument is this Bungie will be left sitting where they are while other studios fight to take the position that Bungie holds. Since they are taking time to make a new game do you believe that they will be left behind as new developers roll out more in depth games in the wake of Bungie taking their hiatus. Let me say that I love Bungie yes sometimes ill get mad at the game, but I enjoy playing there games. I just do not want to see them take to long and loose so much ground to others that they have to fight tooth and nail to get back where they are. Plus that would put a monkey wrench in the world domination plan. Please understand this is not meant to bash Bungie at all just to get feedback on your thoughts of the matter. I hope they can come out of this strong as ever I just know it will be a very hard fight when they do emerge with their new baby.

Just because they're leaving Halo doesn't mean they're on hiatus, they're putting all their time into the new IP. This is no different from other game companies, they can't be expected to roll out the same game year after year, they eventually need a new IP. Halo had it's run but now it's time to move on, Bungie as a company won't lose any ground. Activision seem to believe in them, and Activision are pretty good at being in it for the money.

As I said other companies know how successful they are with the halo series dont you think someone will try and come in to fill there shoes until they reveal their new project. Which I think will have a teaser of next year at E3 if not sooner.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

0x0 x0x 0x0 000 000 x0x 000
x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

Other companies will make other games, and Bungie will probably wait three years between games, just like they did between Halo 1 and 2 as well as between Halo 2 and 3. Besides, even if some people forget about Bungie, Acivision is great at marketing its large projects.
