"Wake me...when you need me."

There are more reasons than just his, but this is pretty awesome.

Dangerous, unnecessary, far to risky. He could have easily been shot when he approached the gunman, that was not the smart thing to do in my opinion. Most would agree that calling the police and let them deal with it would be the better choice.

It is a company, and thus fore singular.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

And the Shadow fell upon the Land, and the World was riven stone from stone. The oceans fled, and the mountains were swallowed up, and the nations were scattered to the eight corners of the World. The moon was blood, and the sun was as ashes. The seas boiled, and the living envied the dead. All was shattered, and all but memory lost, and one memory above all others, of him who brought the Shadow and the Breaking of the World. And him they named Dragon.

I think Bungie is a collective noun, and therefore both can be used depending on what you are referring to. Bungie as in the company (singular), or Bungie as in all the employees there (plural).

I could be wrong though. I'm Norwegian.

"Why Bungie is awesome." It is a company, and thus fore singular. "This is why Bungie employees are awesome," is also correct. Sorry, I had to. Look at the Coup message text.

ANYWHO, this is old news, and it was already posted here a few days ago. :/

Don't be a grammar -blam!- if you're wrong. He used the word 'Bungie' to refer to the people that made up the entity. As a collection of objects rather than a single object. Like saying 'Manchester United are awesome' to refer to their players, rather than the team as one whole. It's perfectly correct.

Besides, language is fluid, not static.

It has been. Twice. But a story this amazing deserves more than two threads. =)

Don't be rude, I was just correcting grammar. No need to be a jerk because a Ninja disagreed with me.

Qbix's post on the subject, its content and his status as a Ninja had nothing to do with my post nor its content. Do not assume as much.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Its why the second ammendment is awesome.... i mean yeah go bungie!
