I have had this happen to me twice now. I log onto Halo Reach my spartans armor is the starter set my emblem is starter set and all my settings are default also my Campaign data is erased I go to play threw campaign and have no levels unlocked except the first and it says I have not beaten it on Legendary alone or in Co Op when I know I have Because I have all the Achievements including Monument to All Your Sin's. And it even says i have on my service record. I wouldn't have had a problem with it except this time it messed with my bungie.net profile too and made it so I dont have any of the medals unlocked that I have gotten and erased some of my other settings. HOW DO I FIX THIS! I want my data back!

Moderator Note: Bungie is no longer managing the Halo Universe. While our Halo-related forums and stats remain available, be advised that "official" answers and support about the Halo Universe (past, present, or future) are not.

"I will show you how a true Prussian officer fights!"

"And i will show you where the iron crosses grow..."

- "Cross of Iron"

Theres no way to fix it sorry.

Also this is the wrong forum at least go to the reach forum or 343's website.

Another one of these this quickly? Really?

Bungie has nothing to do with Halo: Reach or any other Halo game anymore as far as assistance, game maintenance, or support goes. If you would like the Bungie community to attempt to help you with your problem with advice, please repost this here. If you want actually support from the people in charge of and who are managing the game, please repost your qualm here. That is the 343 Industries forums. They are now in charge of Halo.

Either way, the BNet Community forums are not the appropriate place to post this. I'm assuming you haven't been around much since the sight revamp so I'll cut you a little slack but think next time please.

[Announcement Trailer] Halo: Forerunner

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Cut him some slack? What does that entail exactly; slightly less of an air of superiority that you're already showing? I mean, you're incapable of levying any punitive action against him so I'm just trying to understand what slack you're giving him exactly.

Anyway, there's helping to be helpful and then there's helping just so you can show how much better you are than someone else. Try doing more of the former next time; humility goes a long way.

*reminisces when the Bungie/Halo community wasn't made up of CoD kids*
*sighs*
*activates time-machine and sets the clock back to Nov. 9, 2004*
glory days here I come..
*vanishes*

I know how it happened.
You shut down your game while it was saving.
It happened to me as well.

The only way to fix this problem is to play through the Campaign again.

I'm attempting to be helpful. If he was a member that I knew had been here a while* I wouldn't have been so nice. I didn't yell at him or anything because it was a legitimate mistake. And how is it an "air of superiority" to inform somebody of where they should post their query/opinion in a different space? Its true.

*This meaning they had been here and active almost the whole time since the site was updated.

EDIT: Furthermore, if I was not trying to be helpful why bother telling him the correct place to post in the first place? Why not just say "lolurdumb. lern 2 forum n00b."? I was obviously attempting to help the guy or I would have done the aforementioned scoffing or just reported and moved on.
