If I remember correctly the Myth II bug was fixed after a while. Nothing on Halo 2 was fixed. Some Xbox Live updates may have changed things, but it wasn't a fix.
I still do not have the slightist idea of what people think is good about Mario. It doesn't matter that it was fixed, tons of people had completely crashed hard drives from it. Also, Halo 2 Vista did have updates to fix things, but they stopped updating it. The updates also didn't fix much. That is bad, but it's no where near as bad as crashing peoples' hard drives. That's a bug that no developer, even an Independant one, should ever be able to overlook. It boggles my mind how Bungie could have ever even tested the functions without realizing it. That is if they even tested uninstalling the game.
Just because you don't like/understand why a game is good shouldn't make you bolt out saying it's the worst game in the world. I still stand by my statement saying its obvious you haven't played that many games if you seriously think that. There are muuuuuuuuuuuuuch worse games out there than Mario and Halo 2 Vista. Halo 2 Vista has tons of problems with it, but people still enjoy it. If there are still people playing the game online, though only around 50 - 80 people at any given time, it can't possibly be "the worst game ever". That's over-exaggeration, my friend.
In the case of Mario, most of the older fanbase for Mario is made up of nostalgic adults. It is a kid's game, but it was such a great kid's game that it is lovingly remembered all the way to being an adult. The wacky thought of "a plunger saving a princess in a mushroom world" is interesting to kids who have enough of an imagination. If you grew up constantly only wanting to be realistic without any sort of imagination, definitely in the world of gaming, you missed out on a lot.
