The only way to do it (I believe) is to section out your map into different obstacles, and put teleporters below the obstacle so that when they fall, they are teleported back to the start of the obstacle.
As for dieing, I don't think there are any settings that let you decide WHICH respawn point they will respawn at. If you only have 1 obstacle that a player can die on, then you can use a single respawn point at the start of the obstacle, and they will respawn there, but for more than one obstacle, not possible. You could maybe experiment with the checkpoints in race mode...
