its like a large force of win going through fusion, thus creating a chain reaction of a huge asplosion of win destroying any fail within its awesomeness.

It seems like a stupid and awkward question but still, what about the number 7 appealed to Bungie? From all the numbers to choose from what made 7 so special?

Seven is Darker.

That doesn't really answer the question, since that came out of a game that Bungie created in the first place. Unless that exact phrase is stated somewhere else...In which case please show me.

As to the topic itself:

It truly is a mystery. Why is anyone interested in anything? Why does anyone have any interest in specific numbers? Does it have to do with religious beliefs, moral values, luck, old stories? Is it just a completely random number? Is it the creation from hours of painstaking research, or simply a single person's idea as a joke?

Why indeed...

Why must you go into such detail on something so simple?

There is only one answer... and it is that Seven is darker.

It comes from no game. It's just a widely known Bungie fact. Does it really need any more of an explanation?

But why is seven darker?

His question was one in which he had hoped people would give him an answer that would give him insight into the complex mind that is Bungie. Don't you have something else in stock?

Because it doesn't sound cool to say Seven is lighter.

Discipline is my Sword,
Faith is my Shield,
Do not leap blindly into uncertainty,
And you may live to reap the rewards.

"The Important Thing Is To Never Stop Questioning,"

Trying to determine the meaning of or behind "seven is darker" is like searching for the meaning of life, almost impossible.

....Almost.

I think you should be spending your time doing things more usefull, like joining the search for Soffish or devising a plan to break the jar containing Ling Ling's head, though then again you dont wish to start off to big either, maybe work yourself up to those two. But starting off trying to decipher the meaning behind "seven is darker" is like starting with the last step of an assembly instead of the first. Do not fret though, for all will be revealed to the true Bungie loyalist after Step 7 of the World domination plan has been completed.

Be happy for now knowing that Seven is darker, for it is more than most know, and you are already ahead in the game.

like joining the search for Soffish

I know a man who tried that.... they say he came back crazed and insane.

Who was this guy you ask?

-Quaere verum.

Got a report? Use the report tool or send a pm.
Chairleg Productions presents: 'Console Wars' and 'Games as Art?' (also on Halo Waypoint).

See, it all started with zero. But zero meant nothing and so one through to six were created and finally ending on seven; seven was followed by and another bunch of numbers but they are not of importance. 7 was the ultimate number. The perfect number.

In regards to "seven is darker", well i personally work very closely with eleven and eleven has indeed confirmed that seven is particularly and unnaturally darker than any other number.

Just as a note, If you’re not sure about seven, I wouldn’t recommend attempting to understand the mysterious number 2.

7^1=7
7^2=49
7^3=343
7^4=2401
7^5=16807
7^6=117649
7^7=823543

Now, i think this is code.

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

I believe that Mickey Mantle's number was 7, if it helps.
