Why are you looking here?

The milk tastes good.

so, how does it taste?

  • 08.16.2011 4:25 PM PDT

COD shake tastes like an old gym sock from the 1900s that hasn't been washed since.
Halo 1-3 tasted like heaven but the Reach shake tasted pretty disappointing........

Agreed. Really, anyone who says otherwise has too much excess pride.

I wouldn't know because Halo isn't milked. Try CoD or Madden

Why is something completely stupid like Madden a popular franchise?

When in doubt, NoScope.

Because people are stupid enough to buy the same game year after year and the only thing thats changed is the number on the front.

@accordingto343

Your one stop shop for all of 343's fabulous errors and ridiculous notions in the Halo lore.

We should know better, because we are better.

The milk has gotten a bit sour as of late.

Hello! You may also know me as Ijnekono. How you have made your way here I do not know, but welcome. (:

Clever title OP. The milk is going a bit sour, I think. Good thing Bungie is making fresh milk.
Edit: Not implying their next game will be milked and not saying they really milked Halo too much. That's why I say the milk is starting to go sour. Hopefully 343i brings in some new elements to Halo or else it will get sour.
Sorry if that sounded weird.

Except Madden and COD from what I gather.

I've liked the flavors of each of the Halo games, some more than others though, I do agree with the above that Reach wasn't really that fresh....I can only hope the story is sweet in the next installment.

The tide is turning, brothers! Let us take our kingdom back!

We'll see when Halo 4 comes out.

It's a good thing I'm not lactose intolerant, because that game is going to be legen...dairy.

I don't see how Halo is being milked.

With every new Halo game there is something new, something the previous games didn't have.

Halo CE proofed FPS could be on consoles. Halo 2 brought a fun, competitive multiplayer experience; Halo 3 had forge and Theater along with an improved multiplayer, Reach? a whole new type of game-play, and built on its predecessor, forge, making it into a award winning map creator.

Each game had was of great quality, and the graphics of each game beat its competitors in that department with ease. (The only game that compares are Crysis, but reach does have exceptional graphics imo)

It also has a incredible story line which has brought in fans (and continuous doing so) for years. COD has a story line, yeah. But how many people do you know who ONLY play COD for the story line?

So unless 343i just makes the same game every year, which I doubt they will, its not getting milked.

Bungie didn't milk Halo, they pretty much grew bored of it.

Methinks that's why activision hire a new developer for CoD every year, but that clearly doesn't work. halo, on the other hand, has not been milked, but it has run out of steam under Bungie's guidance. I'd rather it under 343i's wings than another finished universe under Bungie's.

Also, CoD's storyline is predictable.

Russian/N.Korean has bomb/way to start a war. stop him.

Vengeance only leads to an ongoing cycle of hatred.

Another trilogy isn't milking it if it's continuing the story. It'd be milking it if it was just another ol crappy campaigns that only sell for the multiplayer. They're making this trilogy mainly because of the story.
