Alright so I got a xbox slim, no hard drive. Got the nastiest killtacular in team snipers last night; immediately drove to walmart, bought a hard drive. Of course the film was not in my recent games after installing H.D. but I downloaded the film from a friend's fileshare so I could watch it in 3rd person. My question/dilemma is can I somehow view the film in my POV? Or am I completely screwed? In the past this community has been great at finding answers to my questions so once again I'm turning to you guys for help.

edit: could I possibly render it from B.net in 1st person? I am not sure how that whole process works.

And Cobravert is absolutely correct.

Is it your game file or your friends?

If it's yours you should be able to put it back into FP mode. I haven't played with theater for a long time and don't remember which button does it. It's either a bumper or the D-pad, but just try other buttons that are not shown on the menu.

It's my friend's game file I have it saved in my fileshare on my main GT: IFRANCHISED

Then it may only go into his FP model, since it is the GT that saved it.
But you don't have to have a vid from FP mode to still have it look cool. It just won't show the medals is all.

It was just a very skilled play and I was really proud of it, not to sound like a total nerd; but it was definitely the best multikill I have ever gotten. And at the risk of sounding pretentiously cocky, I am not sure if I have even seen a better snipers clip. It's just frustrating I will not get to see it in my pov again unless there's another way, perhaps rendering it from this site? How does that work?

No. You have to do it in Theater.

I realize the frustration though.
Back before I really knew how to use theater, I had this multi kill in Ranked BTB. That's all I have of it. I didn't think far enough ahead to save the game file so I could make a vid of it.

Realized I should change the subject to something less vague. Can you recover recent games in theater or on B.net that arent saved on your HDD?

I don't think so my man. Recent game films are stored on the disc I believe because as soon as the game comes out of the xbox those recent films are lost. Only unless you save a clip or a film is it stored on the HD. So because you didn't have that HD it is probably gone.

I'm listeni- Oh wait I don't give a -blam!- what you have to say.

Pretty sure you're screwed. What you should have done was save it to your internal memory (can you do that? Correct me if I'm wrong) then transfered the file over.

I didn't even have access to theater without a HDD. I couldn't watch or save films, or even look at fileshares. I don't think the recent games are saved on the disc. This is just another reason microsoft can sit on it. I am in disbelief at how good that killtac was. I don't surprise myself very often but the play was just flawless. Like espn top ten material haha. I can just hear pucket, "His face, yo face, your face...yall's face... 5 heads 5 shots 5 dead red bodies..it's just not a good day to be the red team."

That sucks. Maybe you could have bought a usb and saved it to that, I'm not really sure though...
