Videogames, Anime, and Interwebz. I love it all!

As long as it takes.

4.6 months from now

New game 1.5 years from now

My money is on either December for the VGA Trailers, January for the Penathalon (where at the very least they will likely come out of the dark to talk about the festivities), or possibly even as far as E3 or Bungie Day.

This basically.

Bungie normally puts out something when they have enough to make a video or demo of the working elements that DO NOT show the plot line or the basics of the game. Like when they announced reach the first time with the player putting on his helmet in the first cut scene.

Bungie may not do something like that but will be something epic.

Like when they showed that you could steal enemy vehicles in halo 2?

Exactly. Even though that entire scene is not in the game you got the short idea of what you can do.

Per Audacia Ad Astra!

With their Willy Wonka surprise "One of the 7" i would bet they will stay in the darkness during one year to the next Bungie Day in 2012.
I don't see them showing something at VGA maybe E3 2K12, who know.

"I don't care if it's God's own anti-Son of a -blam!- Machine or a giant hula-hoop!"

You can tell by the variety of answers that no one really knows. Sure, people have guesses, but for the most part, we are sitting here waiting for something we don't fully understand, indefinitely.
Funny how we act, isn't it?

I would say a teaser trailer (at the most) by sometime early next year.

God I hope not the VGA's. Those things are a joke.

The longer they're in the dark, the better their next project will be!

And the more impatient I will become . . . I want them to take their time, but no more than 3 years.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

Until Activision turn on the flash-light.

For those looking to vent, get proper advice, or give it to those in need.

If I had to guess I'd say between the VGA's this December and E3 '12 next year.
