Subject: ODSTs and their armor

This is flared from the Marine armor thread.

I've been wondering this for a while... how heavy is the ODST armor for the soldiers that wear it? You see, I really think ODST armor is a work of art. The design of it is just so interesting. But it looks rather heavy...

So why don't ODSTs struggle in their armor?

My guess is light material.

The helmet is made of titanium and heat resistance material while the rest of the armor is made of various pieces of kevlar. It also has a heating and cooling system on the inner layer depending on environment conditions.

It's not Hip-Hop, its Electro.... prick.

500 years from now we will probably be able to make super tough light weight materials.

... why don't i think of that question. But the spatran armor is 1 ton, i think. (correct my mistake please.) ODST don't training since seven years old. So oblivious ODST armor is lighter than Spartan, I would say same weight by moderate army wear armor. it's maybe little more extra weight.

The suits the Spartans wear detect nerve signals, and it moves on its own according to that. Spartan's don't lift their armor.
