When you make a post, then return to read a reply and it doesn't show, there is a very easy fix. Hit edit on your post and then submit it. You don't need to change anything unless you want to. Once it submit's it shows the posts that didn't previously display.

Now, this could all be very wrong. Achronos has a habit... (more like a gift actually) of coming on after I have speculated my face off and setting the record, and me, straight.

Lol, I remember the last time...good times....

I havn't noticed any lag yet, but I've only posted once today, and i never get messages.

I hav enoticed alot of this stuff to.My messenger goes crazy. The lag though could very well be my computer.Something is wrong with my wireless connection,it only works when it wants to.

i dunno, i'm having a bit of lag, and i've been having the pm thing for awhile already. Sucks bad for me cause some people love to have 'pm conversations' with me, and when they do and i find myself ignoring them for hours at a time...well, lets just say it doesn't turn out for the best.

However, i also use firefox, which does run the pages a bit slower (for whatever reason). I used ie yesterday and it ran much more smoothly, but still wasn't extremely fast. I have a solution though:

If you think its too slow, get off the forums. You're clogging the bandwith. Stop it you selfish bastards. [/sarcasm]

I have been experiencing all of those problems and when i click on threads and any link it doesn't always work and have to click it several times but that might be unrelated to this stuff.

I've been having the PM lag, but everything else has been working fine. There is the broken stickies and stuff, but that's been around for ages.

You're pretty close this time, Recon. We're in the middle of a bunch of low level changes. Coming soon - .NET 2.0. Currently, though, we just added a new type of load balancer that is MUCH better than the old way. However, it is also more complicated to configure, and it is probably going to be a bit before the site goes back to the synchronous state it was in before. The quick fix is to turn affinity on, but that defeats the point of load balancing, thus we're leaving things as is while I work on making our Data Cache "load balancer aware".

Stickies... No one mentioned stickies.

To answer your question. Goweb made all threads of that type into one thread. Check it out Here

Would any of those changes affect the way XML on Bungie.net works? Some of my RSS feeds specificly dealing with the Home Page News has stopped compleetly.

Is that affecting the chapters too? There's some problems with Articles and Columns. Mainly editing and deleting. You can create one with ease but when you try to edit it takes long for it to appear changed.

So....The site's being updated behind the scenes to a better version of .Net programming. Got it. So, this will somehow make the site better once it's complete, but is messing up the aforementioned things for the time being?
