I am jealous. You guys have dream machines compared ot my PC.

Intel Pentium 4 3.20 GHz
80GB Hard drive
Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 2
Nvidia GeForce FX 5500
DVD/CD-RW Drive

I'm no expert on computers, but I do know enough to realize that I NEED A NEW GRAPHICS CARD!

But I still love my tower. How can I upgrade this thing?

Ols Swedish Gunners

I've just built myself one! It's not finished yet but so far it contains;

AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1024Mb DDR-Ram Pc3200/400MHz
Gigabyte GA-K8n Pro-SLI Motherboard
Harddrives: 1 Samsung SATA2 250Gb, 1 Samsung 120Gb and one Seagate 160Gb
Windows XP Professional SP 2
Palit GeForce 6600 GT 256Mb
DVD Recorder NEC ND-3550, 16x
Logitech MX 518 Mouse

Maybe I'm gonna install one more videocard for an SLI-configuration, Then I'm broke....

Compaq Presario V200 series notebook computer
AMD Turion 64 Mobile clocking @ 1.8 GHz
ATI Radeon Xpress 200Mobile
60 GB HD
382 MB RAM (yeah, I know, I'm getting that upgraded soon)
Conexant AMC Audio (with built-in dual Altec Lansing speakers)
Windows XP Home Edition (with SP2)
DirectX-9
DVD/CD Burner & Reader
14" Ultra-bright Widescreen
802.11 WiFi

Not much, I know, but it gets the job done. When I get enough money and recover from the initial cost of purchasing the laptop, I'm upgrading the RAM to a decent amount, hopefully even 1 gig's worth...
