Valve made half-life, they also made blue shift and others that are like it, blue shift for example was the same plot, but you were one of the security gaurds at the complex, and was still a good game.
EDIT: It would take some thinking for the missions but you would be an elite instead of mc in halo ce, maybe even fight mc!! Youd just be on a differnt side.
Or you could be a marine, johnson?, and do seperate missions on halo, meet uop with mc.
You gotta get the point by now, if not i really screwd up.
That is a very unBungie thing to do. The way the company works is to make somethign good, finish it, and leave it at that. Bungie (at least pre-microsoft) was about the game, the story, the adventure and the gamers. NEVER about the money.
These idas you guys are coming up with are just cheap excuses for more money. Bungie has never taken any "alternate perspectives" in it's game, nor has it to date ruined one of it's gaming series. They don't want to start doing that now.
So if theres room for it, Halo 3 will come, if not... then Bungie will move onto somethign else and Halo will fade away into a dark corner of Bungie only to be pulled out on occaision by the more longstanding fans.
