What I mean is should your choice of armor affect gameplay? For example, the Sniper shoulders allow you to carry more ammo for the sniper, or the Sapper chest gives you more grenades. Now, if this was implemented it should not be in multiplayer, maybe a special online playlist with FF, Co-op campaign, and a Slayer gametype.
Helmets:
Mark V[B] - Standard, no changes
CQC - Active Radar, all blips move, no having to re-scan
ODST - Customizable HUD, color, reticule, and layout
HAZOP - Increased damage resistance to chemicals and airborne toxins
EOD - Increased damage resistance to all explosives
OPERATOR - Last longer in vacuum and underwater, and better VISR, Holograms can jump over obstacles
Grenadier - Increased damage resistance to headshots, no effect on snipers or shots to visor
Air Assault - Increased damage while air-born and while mounted on aircraft
Scout - Better VISR and increased visor magnification, perfect cloak - no ripple -
EVA - Increased efficiency in space combat and operations
JFO - 1.5x shields and shield recharge rate x2
COMMANDO - Drop waypoints for team, give commands to AI's, call in air support
PILOT - Better uplink with vehicles, aircraft more responsive
RECON - No scrambler while cloaked and lasts twice as long
GUNGNIR - Flash guard and reduced head injury
SECURITY - Better motion tracker while in UNSC controlled area and longer armor lock
Chest Pieces:
HP/HALO - Reduced damage from aircraft
UA/COUNTERASSAULT - Carry 2x ammo
TACTICAL/LRP - Carry 2x grenades
UA/ODST - Damage resistance increased for chest shots
TACTICAL/RECON - Cloak lasts 50% longer, speed reduced to 50% while cloaked
COLLAR/GRENADIER - 25% explosives resistance
TACTICAL/PATROL - Speed 125%, cloak last 25% longer
COLLAR/BREACHER - Increased Shotgun damage, melee damage increase
ASSAULT/SAPPER - Carry extra explosives + increased explosive damage
ASSAULT/COMANDO - Can pick up and carry first aid kits + recover AA from dead allies
HP/PARAFOIL - Increased mobility in EVA OPS and 25% speed increase
UA/BASE SECURITY - Can throw marker grenades, and flares, + 2x grenade count
Shoulders:
FJ/PARA - Swap weapons faster
HAZOP - Stronger melee but slower weapon swap
JFO - Increased damage resistance to
RECON - Strafe faster while cloaked
UA/MULTI-THREAT - Increased damage resistance to melee from sides
JUMP JET - Strafe faster while airborn
EVA - INcreased mobility in space
GUNGNIR - Increased damage resistance to explosives
ODST - Increased protection from side attacks but slower weapon swap
UA/BASE SECURITY - Reload and weapon swap speed 2x normal
CQC - Melee damage 2x increase
OPERATOR - Faster Strafe and faster reload
COMMANDO - Increased damage resistance to neck and headshots
GRENADIER - 2x damage resistance but 15% reduction in weapon swap and jump height
SNIPER - 2x sniper ammo and damage
MJOLNIR MK V - 1.5x increase to all actions excluding movement speed
SECURITY - Special assasinations and 3x melee damage increase
Wrist:
UA/BUCKLER - Punch harder
TACTICAL/TACPAD - view overhead map of battlefield
TACTICAL/UGPS - View overhead map of battlefield with allies and enemies represented
ASSAULT/BREACHER - Carry 2x shotgun ammo and faster shotgun reload
Utility:
UA/CHOBHAM - Reduced fall damage + increased movement speed
TACTICAL/HARDCASE - Carry extra ammo
UA/NXRA - No fall damage and increased jump height
TACTICAL/TRAUMA KIT - Heal wounded team mates
TACTICAL/SOFTCASE - Carry extra grenades
Knee Guards:
FJ/PARA - INcreased jump height
GUNGNIR - reduced fall damage
GRENADIER - Increased damage resistance to explosives
