Subject: I guess at this point, anyone here is a Bungie fan, and not a Halo fan

Stop banning me please.

Halo is the whole reason we are all here

343i having ownership of the Halo franchise doesn't mean I'm only a Bungie fan. Bungie made Halo.

I figure this:

Most people are only a "Halo fan," and take notice only of the game, not the company. If you still post here, then Bungie has done something you liked, be it Halo, or their community. So when I say you're a Bungie fan, I don't mean to say you're not a Halo fan, just that you acknowledge Bungie for what they did, and continue to follow them, even if it is just so you can post in their awesome forums.

I'm still on these forums because Bungie made one of my favourite games ever, more importantly a series of games I favour. I'm a fan of Halo, and until 343i produces a forum as dynamic as Bungie.net's forums, I'm staying here.

So, in short, let's hear your thoughts on Bungie 2011!

2011=Nothing
2012=Something or more

Thus I refute thee

Bungie as a company are by the best out there in terms of the spirit and work atmosphere, I would love to work for them one day, I would love to visit the studio one day to feel that love and warmth they give to making a decent game, it's not always about money with them but more following their dreams and hopefully creating something along the way to really please their fans

i still love halo and bungie

Not too worried about Bungie to be honest. They're a think tank, they know what they're doing.

Came for Halo.
Stayed because of the groups, not because of a developer and most assuredly not because of the last game.

I think I actually stayed here because of the badass community that has formed over the years.

What are we supposed to be discussing here?

"Nothing in the 'Verse can stop me."

Or lazy.

The removal of the Halo: Reach forum link on the 'Community' tab has made the list seem far more peaceful. Total truth.

Yeah, since Bungie gave away Halo, he have had an uncontested era of peace on the forums.

Bungie Day '11 Community Mosaic Thread

everybody listen to mac2po he is 100% right

Them partnering with Activision was crazy and unexpected by anyone. It seemed weird at first for a company like Bungie to do that, but the idea grew on me. I'm fine with it now, and I can't wait for what this partnership means for the future.

Bungie Aerospace was a bit depressing in my eyes(I had high hopes for some crazy pipe dream), but on the other hand we will be getting some really great games for Droid and Apple phones. Can't wait for Crimson. :)

Since you cannot do good to all, you are to pay special attention to those who, by the accidents of time, or place, or circumstances, are brought into closer connection with you.

I can't prove it, but I can say it.

i am not shawn from youtube, I created this username because I thought it was an unique name but if I could change it I would since it did not belong to me originally

I still like Halo yet I roam the Bungie forums...

True... I just wish WE knew what they're doing. We've been kept in the dark for a couple of years now, and I don't anticipate them enlightening us any time soon. It's very frustrating.

Sure, I'm still a Bungie fan. But it's getting harder and harder to call myself that when I have no clue what they're working on, or even what the general direction of the studio is.

After playing all the Halo games, they have made me a bungie fan, what ever they come out with next will be awesome for sure! Bungie forever!

  • 08.22.2011 10:21 AM PDT

I'm not really on here much anymore as their is nothing to really talk about. When Bungie starts releasing info on their new game on here thats when I'll be all up on bnet again. The forums need an upgrade soon too. I can't even see the current theme without thinking of years of Halo complaints.
